Re: Dellor moaning about Vydra again!!!

After seeing the highlights on Football League Tonught, am I the only one who thought that Vydra's missed chances were nowhere near as bad as Dellor made out on the radio commentary? From what I've seen of Vydra, he's obviously lacking in confidence, but has the speed of thought, touch, pace and vis...

Re: Stadium Expansion

The planning permission is simply renewed year on year. The East Stand's hospitality will be directly opposite the West Stand's. I don't think this is correct. AZ has now said the club is reviewing the design and will be submitting a new planning application, which will take about a year. It theref...

Re: Season Tickets 2012/13

robbieroyal Apologies, can someone advise? Do you get season ticket royalty points added at end of season?

No, I think they are added as soon as you purchase. I bought mine before the end of last season and the points were showing on my account pretty much straight away.

Re: The official Portugal 2012 thread - Sponsored by Nando's

A description from Reading_fan is the next best thing to witnessing events with one's own eyes. Are people really trying to claim that breaking into the stadium for the sake of saving 10 euro, running on the pitch to celebrate a goal in a meaningless pre-season friendly and throwing beer at the team...

I've always found Reading_Fan's observations to be accurate. Except when it comes to player identification, of course.

Looks like Mick Gooding will be playing in an Ex Reading Players vs Chelsea Old Boys match at Basingstoke Town on Sunday (according to Jonny Fordham anyway - http://www.getbracknell.co.uk/sport/football/readingfc/s/2074956_jonny_fordhams_slovenian_tour_diary_coming_home). Does anyone know which othe...

I don't get it. Can someone please explain why it was unreasonable to predict a mid-table finish at the start of the season?

Re: Dissapointed- The goal that Never was.

lets go back a few years to the Tottenham goal/no goal at OT, the Man U keeper knew the ball was well over the line..but he didn`t ask the ref to give it did he?..therefore why should Harper be any different? Because its a game and it would be nice to think that there was some element of fair play ...

Re: Dissapointed- The goal that Never was.

Why are you 'embarrassed'? I didn't mean that I was personally embarrassed, but that it is generally embarrassing that professional football players would celebrate a 'goal' in those circumstances. Apologies if I phrased it badly. The ref and linesman should be embarrassed about getting the decisio...

It says on the OS that our players, led by Noel Hunt, celebrated the 'goal'. That would seem to be the embarrassing part for me.

Re: Wolves and Preston tickets

I fancy making Wolves my first away day this season. DG - do you know if we'll get the same area of the ground we had last time or do I need to take a brolly? I think we'll be along the side in the Steve Bull Lower(that's what Wolves' website said a week or so ago anyway). What do people think our ...

Re: Ipswich v Reading - Match thread

With nothing to go on but the BBC text Ipswich sound on top, however the quick Little sounds our most dangerous player again.
