Good luck...

by Super_horns » 18 Aug 2006 20:10

Been interesting to see what you guys have though over the past week on the chances of Reading staying up (not the so called expert pundits)

Sounds like some are feeling positive and expecting something good but maybe a bit disappointed by the lack of signings...not that I don't think you needed many.

Best of luck and hopefully come December 9th at the Vic we'll both be in a nice mid-table position showing those doom merchants they know nothing.

Lets hope so, the bottom line is we don't have a clue how things are going to go, and anything could happen, which makes tomorrow so intriguing.

Thanks for the good wishes, and like-wise.

Cheers, Super_horns, and I genuinely hope you stay up.

Reading and Watford share the same qualities in that neither are particularly 'cool' teams to follow, both are supporters' football clubs - neither possess a huge ego in terms of what they think they will achieve, and both clubs, I think, revel in being underdogs.

We did our talking on the pitch last season, so if that continues we have no problem in comfortably staying up (even with the lack of signings).

Roll on tomorrow.

I'd settle for "beat Watford at home and you stay up".
