I have it on good authority that our training pitches are built on an ancient Indian burial ground.

They're also laid out in an upside down cross. Plus there's an inverted pentagram woven into the stitching of our training kit.

So they're moving the training ground, and changing kit suppliers. Nobody can accuse the club of ignoring this issue. Let's hope their actions aren't too late for this season.

Ankle, knee, appendectomy, something's bound to work eventually.

This is the Reading medical team we are talking about. Nothing would surprise me.

The knee bone's connected to the... something. The something's connected to the red thing. The red thing's connected to my wristwatch.

Heard the new physio team is taking up a new form of acupuncture involving javelins and a blindman.

I have it from an insider (favourite restaurant’s Spanish waitres’s brother works at the MadStad) that it’s a cumulative effect caused by the under-pitch heating, which only Kelly has found a counter to: flapping his arms and running in figures of eight means the geas has no effect on him.

Barrow and Swift both picked up knocks. Not thought to be too serious but then this is Reading so no doubt their season is over.

Totally amazed :) to see Nelson on the bench today, compared to the doom and gloom from a couple of weeks ago, that’s one decent recovery rate....well done all concerned.

Rinomhota made all the difference. He come back in and the midfield and overall team balance looks so much more assured. On top of that he was superb (yet again) despite 7/8 weeks out injured and, though only playing since the xmas/new year really, is quite definitely a serious contender for PoTS.

Yep, agreed, and it was good they didn't need to bring him on today, and didn't.

+1
Though if Nelson makes it out, that really, um, takes the biscuit. Portuguese word, incidentally.

I have been told third hand, that Gomez's team has a different approach to injuries. The old medical team preferred to have injuries rested. Gomez's team works the injured players much harder. That might account for the faster recoveries that we are seeing in some cases.
