Simod Cup Final for me.

One of the best games that I have been to was definitely Cardiff (a) in the playoffs 2012 - as we made it 2-0 on the very stroke of half time, we knew we had more than one foot in the final, the concourse scenes were absolute carnage.

Leicester would probably be the main one

However if I could tell my teenage self that going to that Plymouth game would be infinitely more interesting than spending the afternoon sitting on the Broad Street benches smoking and spitting that would be nice

The last ever game at Elm Park. Although I wasn't a season ticket holder at the time I'd been to every home game for the previous seven seasons. Missed out on this one as the demand was mental and I was too slow to beat all the plastics to the ticket office. :(

That game was the dampest of damp squibs. We were already relegated and IIRC, the atmosphere was flat as fcuk.

oh yes, already relegated and lost 1-0 to a Craig Bellamy goal for Norwich. Just felt like everyone couldn't wait to get out of there.

Reading 6 Barnsley 2 in 69/70 season. Les Chappell's headed goal and the move preceding it was described as a thing of beauty. Also missed Reading 6 Barrow 3 from that season.

ooh, yes, Barney, that would be mine too. Never missed a home game in those days but was just too young to go away.

Best season ever.

From Despair To Where? Exeter (a) in 93/94.

The 6-4 game? Hate to rub it in but I was there. Also went to an opening season game there a couple of seasons earlier when we won 3-1 in the tv interference kit and Craig Maskell looked the business. It was baking hot and it was just a cracking away day. Didn’t take too long afterwards for that early season optimism bubble to be burst though!

My choice would be the Friday goal game against Rochdale as it was just before my time, or Brentford 2002, as I was and still am living 250 miles away and our son was due to be born around the time and couldn’t risk being that far away from home and potentially, most likely, incapacitated through drink!

FAIL Mr Optimist.

It was v Tranmere.

The Rochdale game that season was where the phantom side-netting goal was given.

Yes, quite right! Tranmere game. Good job I haven’t fired up the Delorean yet.

Brentford away and Curo’s equaliser. It would have been amazing to have been packed in at Griffin Park going absolutely mental when we got promoted.

Simod Cup Final, except at the age I'd have been it would have meant little to me.

Either of the games confirming promotion to the PL, Leicester (a) or Forest (h). Or when Murty scored the pen QPR (h).

Those Liverpool cup games.

Millsy The one where Friday scored that wondergoal.

Me too, I’m the other fan who missed that one.

WAS almost every game mentioned (bar I think Ark Royals selections ). Also saw every game of our Simod run and every game of our run to the cup semi (not the Cardiff one). Saw us play Arsenal in 72 and Saints in 76 ?
I didn’t see the Watney Cup game v Man Utd or George Best’s appearance and didn’t see Kerry Dixon score 6 and end up on the losing side.
Would have quite liked to have gone on the tour to Italy when we were described as the best team in the world.....

I also missed the Robin Friday goal game , had to endure years of a mate telling me about it , but I did see the Man. Utd , Watney Cup game , and the last home game of the previous season when we scored 8 , ( I dodged out from a family wedding to go to the game )

Reading 4 Plymouth 3 in 85/86. 0-3 down with 25 minutes left.

Just a few weeks before I started going.
