Rashford just isn't good enough for United. They won't get rid of him though because his profile outside of football is so high now, and he is local, the Glaziers/ Management will be too scared to get rid of him.

It’s not even as though it’s a sudden terrible loss of form. He’s been getting worse week in week out for the last 2 years. He really has to go somewhere else and rekindle his desire to play the game of football, because at the moment he clearly doesn’t want to be out on the pitch.

Maybe he needs to go out on loan next season to a Championship team with a good record of looking after declining PL players and who are prepared to pay 5% of his wages.

The pandemic made Rashford as a man but killed him as a footballer. Just hasn't been nearly the same player since we've returned to semi normality.

At the moment Liverpool look like they are peaking, while Man City are slipping slightly. That could switch in the remaining games. Man City’s bigger squad could yet prove decisive.

Aside from 12 months under Solskjaer and one season under Mourinho, this lot has been a shambles since SAF left. Why they persist with underperforming players week in week out is beyond me

You see how ruthless the likes of Klopp and Pep were with underperforming players and then compare that to United. To still have the likes of Maguire, Lindelof, Bailly, Matic, Mata, Lingard, Martial (only this season) and Rashford in and around the squad is staggering. They really need a rebuild but we say it every season and it never happens
