Spanish media seem to be suggesting that having talked Xavi round to staying at Barcelona after he previously said he was leaving, Barcelona have decided they don't want him now and will get rid of him at the end of the season. lol

Winston Biscuit Norwich give Wagner the boot

Presumably they believe they ‘deserve’ to be in the PL

Max Allegri sacked by Juve.

Was expected to leave this summer anyway but apparently had a fallout with a director during the week so they have binned him off now with 2 games to go to show him up

Probably more to do with his "Stam approach" to a play off plus Norwich have never looked all that good this season, they're poor defensively and didn't play to their strengths often enough.

Tony Mowbray resigns as Birmingham manager which is no major surprise.

Presume Rowett will step in seeing as he was managing in the last few games. Unless Zola is available :?

Looking increasingly likely that Kieron McKenna will jump ship from Ipswich having got them to the PL - Brighton seemingly the most likely destination.

Would make absolute sense for his career but would make Ipswich's task in staying up much much harder.

Ipswich are rumoured to be going in for Rob Edwards if McKenna does jump.

Bit worried about Brighton going forward into next season. Might have a little punt on them going down.

They haven't even got anyone to sell for a vastly inflated price this season.
I think the same about Brentford. For the smaller clubs with that kind of model there seems to be a limit on the number of years you can keep bucking the odds and uncover gems for peanuts.

That always makes me feel so disappointed. You've built your team, they've been successful and now at last you have a chance to manage them and see how they get on at the highest level, and you walk away from that chance when someone bigger waves a chequebook.

I understand all the financial reasons, and it'd be a fool to turn down offers like this - it just leaves a nasty taste in the mouth.

Yep, would be a shame but as we know there is no sentiment in football. If it is Xmas and Ipswich are bottom with say 7pts from 17 games, then they may well sack him or his star is waning and he'll have missed the window to move on in his career.

Its a tough choice as a manager to stick or twist, by sticking you know you are eventually guaranteeing yourself the sack but move on to better players at an established club, do well, and then a job at one of the top clubs may come up.

Not a bad place to be I suppose.

it will be interesting to see if Parky gets some approaches this summer if there are big moves in the manager market. if for instance, McKenna goes to Brighton, and Edwards goes to Ipswich, would a club like Luton look to parky? He's got to be hot property. 5 promotions under his belt now, from what I can gather he is second only to Neil Warnock for promotions in the EFL. Will Parky think he's taken Wrexham as far as they can go? or is there unfinished business for him still.

It's a job

We've discussed before that, should any of us be in a position to build something with on company but then be offered something potentially more lucrative or more sustainable most would at least consider it and a very large proportion would do it.

And if Ipswich get relegated there's a very good chance he gets the push in a year
