Transfer deadline day rumours are already in full swing with Dean Hammond, Yun Suk-Young and John Fleck being linked with Reading. However, it does seem unlikely that any of those players will complete a move to Reading at this stage.

Leicester City midfielder Dean Hammond has been heavily linked with Reading over the past few weeks but it is being reported he is likely to stay at Premier League side Leicester City where he has played all three of their top tier fixtures so far this season. He played the full ninety minutes, and picked up a yellow card, during their 1-1 home draw with Arsenal at the weekend. It seems Hammond would only move to Reading if Leicester complete other transfers as otherwise he remains a key part of their side.

It is reported that Reading have had a bid turned down for QPR Korean defender Yun Suk-Young. The player hasn't featured so far this season for QPR and has only clocked up a handful of appearances for QPR since signing in January 2013. His lack of first team action does seem to make him the type of player that would be happy to step down a division to give his career a boost.

Other names that have cropped up include Coventry midfielder John Fleck - but that also appears to be nothing more than a rumour. Fleck has played every game for Coventry so far this season. Reading were rumoured to have bid 350,000 for the player who, it has been confirmed, is up in Coventry happily training with his teammates as usual.
