End Of Season Awards

End Of Season Awards 2010/2011

For the first time ever in 13 years of on-line voting, there is a double winner in the Hob Nob Anyone? End of Season awards. Shane Long picks up both titles - for player of the season and for most improved player - showing just what an amazing season the player has had. At the time of writing Shane Long remains a Reading player, but an asset of such value will surely soon be on their way to the Premier League.

Long was a massive way ahead of the field for player of the season, but had competition for most improved player with Shaun Cummings and Jem Karacan not far behind.

This time last year Reading fans were confidently predicting a play-off finish for the Royals in this vote - and they were spot on as Reading finished 5th in the table.
This time around fans are expecting a mid-table finish for 2011/2012. Lets hope we're wrong and the season can provide a bit more than that.

Votes were collected between during June and July 2011.
All result figures are expressed as percentages of the total vote.
