The Rec is a typical lower Division ground with a capacity of less than 7,000 - however there are plenty of plans to continue developing the ground. Away fans are situated behind the goal on shallow open terracing. A limited number of tickets for Reading fans are available in the main stand.

Parking:
There plenty of parking available around the ground.
The ground itself can be found after leaving the M1 at Junction 29 and taking the A617 towards Chesterfield. On arrival in Chesterfield town follows signs for Old Brampton and then to the ground.

Pubs:
There's plenty of pubs in the town centre - and the ground is less than a mile from the town. So it's a good idea to park ground side of town and find a pub. The train station is also just 10 minutes walk from the ground.
