Team news Reading will have a real choice up front with McIntyre and Butler in superb form. Jamie Cureton will be back from suspension - and how can you leave him on the bench? In defence Matt Robinson will be competing with Andy Gurney for a starting place - while Igoe will probably remain on the bench ready to come on as substitute once again.

Reading - from: Whitehead, Robinson, Gurney, Viveash, Williams, Newman, Parkinson, Caskey, Jones, Butler, McIntyre, Cureton, Igoe, Hodges, Smith, Howie, Mackie.

Wrexham - from: Dearden, McGregor, Chalk, Faulconbridge, Ferguson, Barrett, Roberts, Owen, Williams, Sam, Killen, Edwards, Bouanane, Morrell, Rogers.
Form Guide

It's a Reading home game. And we all know what that means - plenty of entertainment and Reading winning by at least two goals but probably more. Just for the record we've won our last four home games without any problem at all: 4-0 against Brentford, 5-0 against Oldham, 5-1 against Swansea, and 2-0 against Wycombe on Saturday. Saturday's result may not have been as goal crazy as the three games before hand, but we were up against one of the best defences in the division and still stuck two past them with no reply.

There's bound to be an exception to the rule at some point, and someone has to break Reading's almost insane run of form - and Wrexham appear most likely candidates. Ignore their league position of 12th - 10 places behind the Royals. Our home form may appear to make us certainties for the three points, but Wrexham have one of the best away records in the league this season. In fact Wrexham are undefeated away from home so far this term with three wins and two draws. Add to that an amazing strike rate - 13 goals away from home already this season, and we could be in for a few more goals. On the plus side Wrexham let in three goals at Oxford on Saturday when Wrexham won 4-3. If Oxford can score three against them we could be in another five at least.

On paper this looks set to be yet another classic counter at the Madejski Stadium.
I certainly wouldn't want to miss it.
