If he wasn't sacked, he certainly should have been. One of the low points in my watching this club.

Made a big impact when he appeared on the RFC scene as a young player. Great skill levels. A refreshing newcomer at the time to a fairly ordinary team.

Having seen nigh on 70 years of ups and downs with RFC, though for most of that time a "going nowhere" in Div III South, I feel pretty sanguine about the current situation, Analysis is interesting but likewise goes nowhere. Now it's just fun to watch, wait and hope.

Stam gets my vote. World class footballer, has wetted his feet in coaching at quality clubs, will be ambitious to make his mark and progress. Would be most headline manager since Ted Drake, for what it's worth!
