Re: Buyout

I wouldn't be surprised if it's an Italian consortium lead by Gianni Paladini again. I'm told it was all setup earlier in the year so now maybe TSI aren't on the board it's back on.

Pure conjecture on my part - I know the deal was all setup back in April though.

Re: Buyout

He owns Playtech so it is his box. So how do you pretty much know for sure that he wants the club 100% for the real estate? http://blaine.org/jules/charlie%20brown2.JPG He doesn't own Playtech. Playtech are publicly listed on the FTSE. And to your second point - because I can. I don't need to justi...

Re: Buyout

I always find it interesting that people who claim to be ITK often refer to articles that are at least two years old as their source of information. I posted that article to try and show the readers of this board a well researched and written investigation into the activities of Playtech and their ...

Re: Buyout

I'm just going to make this point again. Teddy Sagi is adept at and focused on making more money. You cannot make money out of owning a football club. If he wants to buy Reading FC, it's 100% for the real estate potential that someone has highlighted to him. He will not invest his own money into th...

Silver Fox
Yorkshire Royal he doesn't really speak English anyway.

This is my number one reason to call shenanigans on this one

Well alright - I don't actually know that having never spoken to him but I am reliably told that to be the case. It's not really relevant anyway I guess.

Re: Buyout

Teddy Sagi would only buy a football club if there was a way of making money out of it. He's not a "sugar daddy" wanting a play thing. He's an astute businessman who wants to make more money. He would not plough vast amounts of his personal fortune into a vanity project although I am sure ...

I take it as a load of rubbish, Pog is on 40 at most 40k a week through England yes. See my previous posts regarding the suspicious nature of the Pog deal. He's probably after the same sort of sweetener. Wouldn't be surprised if he got it tbh. He got a large signing on fee due to being a free agent...

Re: Danny Guthrie - Refusing To Travel

The biggest mistake Brian made was signing this egotistical idiot in the first place. He must have known he had a billy big bollox attitude, but signed him anyway.

Not great all round then considering we have the worst centre midfield in premiership history.

A Palacios loan would be payback for the Kitson and Agent Sonko disasters..

After those deals, I'm surprised Stoke are still talking to us.

Re: Back from the match / Pub / Lounge (Villa)

Back 4 were much better than at Wigan. That is the only positive thing to take. They were dire. We were worse. Our midfield has to be one of the worst in Premier League history. Both centre mids were absolutely pointless. Our front 2 were ineffective to say the least. We are simply not good enough f...

Re: Alex Pearce

It's not all about the salary offered. We obviously won't be able match liverpools offer. They have to offer more to tempt him away from the area he lives in, sell his house, ship his family (if he has one yet) to the grotty north west. Think about your job, would you relocate to liverpool for an e...

Lolwut. So your contact told you there were some 'odd' parts to the deal and left it at that? I really can't be arsed to write down the conversation verbatim, but pretty much. Yorkshire Royal I don't have any contacts at Reading, but do at another prem league club. There is something very, very odd with this deal. And not just the big signing on fee. It leaves me feeling very uneasy.

would those be Fulham contacts
