Re: No BFTG Leeds (A)?

My talking points 2) 8/10 ratings : Richards, Ejaria (with his new hairstyle and different face, and age) Lol. I especially liked it when Dellor tried to explain that Ovie had his hair tied back for this game and for some reason was wearing the wrong number shirt. Yeah it was funny. I bet he felt a...

Re: No BFTG Leeds (A)?

Jagermesiter1871 Also Moore playing as striker instead of bringing Baldock on seemed an odd shout.

Most dangerous striker we had all game.

Re: No BFTG Leeds (A)?

My talking points 1) 7/10 ratings : Morrison, Moore, Gomes - all very solid performances 2) 8/10 ratings : Richards, Ejaria (with his new hairstyle and different face, and age) 3) 5/10 rating : Puscas - very poor. He did some good holding stuff but I was surprised by the number of times with the bal...

Re: Jimmy Wheeler RIP

RIP Mr Wheeler. Can you guys share memories of the old boy for plastics like me who know nothing about him? What position was he? What was he like? If you go to the club website, you can see a potted history of his career. Sorry, I don't know how to cut and paste it onto here, perhaps someone could...

Re: Elm Park Years

Reading v Arsenal FA Cup 1972 was the heyday of skinheads/suedeheads and football violence. As a 14 year old living in Reading - our hooligan following mainly consisted of schoolboy wannabes, like me. Anyone harder (older) in those days supported the big London clubs or Man U/Liverpool. Elm Park th...

Re: Bowen Out.

Excellent - thank you. Table misses off the Preston win in his first game https://www.twtd.co.uk/league-tables/competition:championship/daterange/fromdate:2019-Oct-18/todate:2020-Jun-01/type:home-and-away/ Makes us 7th - 1 point outside the top 6. Ah wow. So in other words his appointment has been ...

Re: Bowen Out.

I'm undecided on Bowen. He can't be blamed for the start of the season and he's had patches of great results since taking over. He's also had patches of not so great football. Much like Gomes I suppose although obviously ppg Bowen has done much better. He can only really be judged after a summer res...

Re: Bone Marrow

Having started this thread asking for his return, thinking about it more I'm now not so fussed. Not because I don't think he'd walk into the squad or make us better, but because if he doesn't want to be here and won't sign beyond end of contract there's no point (and even if he does sign, he's alrea...

Re: Bone Marrow

I'm not sure how you can say this. We've literally just played him in his "supposed" best position in CM for three or four games straight and he was terrible. Granted, he was poor on the left against WBA too, but he looks so much better playing as a LAM where there's more space to exploit...

Re: Bone Marrow

Why is it so hard for some people to realise...he doesn’t want to be here?! Oh he probably doesn't and I don't give a toss about him personally like he doesn't give a toss about us. But we may be his only option of payment and some first team football and love him or hate him he may be very useful ...

Modou Barrow

Apparently he's walked out of his club in Turkey where he's on loan as wages unpaid.

I'd fly him back immediately if this is possible, should never have gone.

What are the ins and outs of this deal could we take him back? Even if not surely there's some sort of breach of contract?

Re: BFTG Hull.

Ejaria is a player who can and does make something happen out of nothing. Eg the time he had literally FIVE players on him just inside the penalty area. FIVE. He managed to keep the ball dribble through them. Fell over. Managed to bounce back up. Still hold the ball, glide past them and put a bliste...

Re: BFTG Hull.

1) 532 ridiculous nowdays. 442 changed the game for us. Well done Bowen. 2) Bowen normally quite shrewd but taking Obita and Baldock off!?? Wtf. 3) Swift did good stuff because he's Swift but by his standards had a shocking game. 4) Aluko was surprisingly good. Lost it once or twice but his vision a...
