Re: Matt Mills and Zurab

West,

Think he shows good stuff every game, mixed in with a bit of dodginess and head loss (very occasionally).

Tonight he was absolutely superb from first minute to last. Well played. Do the same at Wembley.

Re: Shaun Cummings

Did everything you could have asked of him. Composed on the ball, used his pace well to close down and one or two half decent crosses.

Important part of a great team performance.

Re: To the fans who mocked Blades fans ...

No.

Apparently it was because about 50 fans booed Reading at half time.

Ally, didn't offend me. Hope you enjoyed it. Just thought it lacked a bit of class.

And made me think: 'Don't feckin tempt fate you idiots.'

And lo and behold ...

To the fans who mocked Blades fans ...

Well done. 2 nil up and our world was looking nice and rosy. So in the spirit of the day's theme, coming together with the away fans to pay tribute to Chris Armstrong, you decide to give it a round of 'going down, going down'. No need. Yeah, they probably are doomed, but they sure pissed on our chips.

Re: To all the fans who booed today

Jerry, you're spot on.

I prefer to use a full-on torrent of expletives and abuse. Unfortunately I was with my 4-year-old who was screaming 'Come on Reading' to the final whistle.

He'll learn.

Re: Back From The Game - Sheff Utd (H)

Roll on Coventry - just have to get the worst 60 minutes since Plymouth away last year out the system. Simply did nothing a professional team should do after the first 25. No closing down, no winning ind battles, no composure on the ball, no movement. But it's done. Glad Liegertwood's unbeaten run i...

Re: To all the fans who booed today

A few muted boos at half time. A little bit of booing at full time, but not that much. Sheer frustration from fans not quite able to comprehend the capitulation they'd just witnessed. Not great, but nothing compared to the absolute hammerings fans like Millwall dish out to their own. The players are...

Re: Back from the game - Leicester (H)

Another great three points. Leicester no mugs and knock it around well but we mopped it all up and hit on the counter attack brilliantly. Kebe back to his flying best (shame about some of the finishing, but don't mind if he's creating like that). Jobi miles better, Mansett a handful, Hunt decent, Ki...

Re: Refwatch: Millwall

Nice moment when Long, I think, cleanly headed the ball out in front of West Stand. Griffin runs back to defend the throw only for it to be awarded to us.

So why bother posting any of that.

Last season we had a great creative midfielder by the way who weighed in with a load of goals.

Not his usual assured self on the ball in second half. Plenty of passses going astray. The usual liability when players run at him.

Re: RTG - STG Translator

Was there - and thought he found acres of space, hence my comment. Barnsley just couldn't get near the man. Teams that do well against Reading tend to crowd him out but today he was unstoppable. He also got some decent support from Cummings today, which made defending against him even more difficult.

Seriosly Terminal, it all depends on one thing.

If oppo can handle Kebe, we have problems. If they can't, we win.

Amazing stuff. He actually looked relaxed on the ball and passing was good.

What next? Pearce getting Usain-Bolt-style pace?
