Re: Do you need an old RFC programme? (Free....)

hi I have that programme for you - message me. Maybe you could come and find me in my seat if you're in East Stand? Have you got the Peterborough Cup game on 28th August 2012? Its the only game in 10 years I went to and didn't get the programme? They didn't have them in the megastore either the foll...

Re: Old Reading Footage on VHS/film/Youtube

If anyone finds themselves a bit bored this Christmas, i'm looking for footage of the following games. No luck here so far: Birmingham away May 1990 1-0 win, crowd trouble, Gilkes scoring the least popular reading goal ever Tranmere away December 1990 - FOG Chester away March 1991 - Lowest league g...

Do you need an old RFC programme? (Free....)

Hi everyone I am streamlining my programme collection down to a few key games of each season. The rest are going. Years covered are 1975-2016, although I have hung on to most of the 75-76,76-77,78-79 ones . All home games are there plus hundreds of aways. So... is there a programme you missed out on...

Re: New Football League highlights Show

Personally I thought the 'highlight' was asking someone in the audience a question and then saying "we can't hear you mate" as they hadn't bothered with any audience mics. Total fail. Just highlights n goals and nowt else needed please! FL72 much better, even though they still insist on sp...

Out from lurking to post once again on the 'old vhs footage' thread so I may as well add to this one

Re: Old Reading Footage on VHS/film/Youtube

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UF0gBr-2Awk some rare footage of our Div 4 promotion season 1983/84. A 1-1 draw at Swindon. I think I am in love with you a little bit. If you can find footage of our 3-1 win at Oxford in the 1999/00 season this might escalate to torn out pages from British Rail time...

Re: Old Reading Footage on VHS/film/Youtube

The Southern TV / Old Footage thing has been round the block a few times. A few people out there claim to have some of the Southern stuff (Crewe, Northampton were a couple from memory) but no-one has ever come through with an offer to give/trade for some of my stuff. I personally have a source for t...

Re: Old Reading Footage on VHS/film/Youtube

I've got 26 years+ of every goal from every game, converted to DVD. It's "just a question of time" as Depeche Mode would say...... I'll try to do that one plus Quinny v Bristol Rovers. Glad the others generated so many good memories and enjoyment! For all you lot under 30 they were a band ...

Re: Old Reading Footage on VHS/film

I've got full season highlights for every season from 1986-87 through to present day (now all on DVD) (only 86-87 and 87-88 are part seasons, the rest full) and will try to look out a couple of these clips that people have asked for - Wolves 96 etc - in a quieter moment. I'd also be interested in tr...

Re: Did anybody have a poo at Elm Park?

I am certain I never did a dump at Elm Park but I had to post and say that this is the funniest thread title (and accompanying posts) I've read in years. I can't stop giggling about it. I'm getting on for 50 for Christ's sake. My fave is "........ if anyone is interested i completed the day wit...

Re: Old Reading Footage on VHS

I've got all the seasons from 1986-87 through to present day on DVD, 86-87 and 87-88 are selected goals from matches, the rest from 88-89 onwards are goals or highlights package from every game. I put the older ones on DVD from VHS a few years back. I'd be interested in a trade for the 85-86 footage...

Biff's Sports Almanac 2100-2150

Hi all Please don't ask me how - it's top secret (but I can tell you in some way that it DOES involve a flux capacitor ) - I have managed to get hold of Volume 4 of the Sports Almanac that Biff used in 'Back to the Future'. This edition covers the years 2100-2150 and is an invaluable asset for forwa...

Get a new chairman : one who isn't dead above the neck and before anyone asks : I actually don't care who would take over, I am SO bored of Madejski now that after 42 years as a supporter I feel like giving up, so I can't be bothered with the 'why' 'who would' 'whats he done for us' questions so... ...

Smoking Kills Dancing Doe Agree 100%.

I can't make my mind up if he's a genius or an utter fool.

Yeah I've thought this since I first saw him interviewed. Cool, calm, collected, well-spoken and hidden genius.... or utter fool.

Since then I've considered it further and I've gone with utter fool.

have a listen for how many times he says
