Re: TAKEOVER *NOT* CONFIMRED

If we're no closer to a takeover come the end of the season and comfortably safe, I'd love to see the Blackpool game disrupted, good chance they'll be in a fight for a play-off place so might even be on TV, would be a chaotic situation for the EFL to have to deal with and to be relegated they'd lit...

Re: #SellBeforeWeDai (to someone fit and proper)“ supporters action group

https://twitter.com/SellBeforeWeDai/status/1760242356958204073 Edited highlights: I assumed it wasn't going to happen on Sunday with the lack of update before now. It's obvious the Met were always going to be less willing to allow a protest than the TVP. The point about the Met saying they'll make ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Oxford United (a)

Dorsett struggled all game and looked out of his depth. Azeez didn't put a foot right. Wing, Yiadom and Binden the pick of the bunch, Knibbs and Craig lots of effort but not enough composure. Great cameos from Wifi and Savage. TVP a bit heavy handed I thought. On BBC Oxford their lot were describin...

Re: #SellBeforeWeDai (to someone fit and proper)“ supporters action group

Derby fans seem to be very vocal in their dislike of Reading, which could make next week interesting. Portsmouth too, where somehow singing "pay up, Pompey" means we wanted them to go bust, rather than a comment on them avoiding debts by going into administration. In truth, if Derby sing ...

AthleticoSpizz Schards drove a 200 mile round trip (from Wootton Bassett  ) today, according to his cameo on BBCRB this evening. Nice to hear an old ‘nobber still alive tbf

HA HA I realised this was Schards as well.

Must have taken a wrong turning at some point

Got a bit carried away there! As I said, I don't think the protest will change Dai Yongge's thinking, I doubt he'll even know a...

Re: Selles In

One thing I’ve noticed about Azeez which has made a huge difference is he is trusting his right foot a whole lot more Previously he was always cutting back. Now he is regularly putting in excellent crosses on his right The defender is now struggling as they want to keep him on his weaker foot, but ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Exeter City (h)

Thought the game was fairly entertaining. Exeter had some good ideas and played quite well first half but they made so many unforced errors it was unreal. One of those days when you really feel the difference in quality to the champ Thought their left hand side - Jules (goal aside) and the number 5...

Feel like this needs it's own thread so we can discuss it in all it's glory. https://twitter.com/EdRyding/status/1740831312192168343?t=0-uYmyP1-_ny3EC9kYpcLQ&s=19 I think for some reason he thinks absent mindedly that we have already conceded for whatever reason and is kicking the ball in frust...

Silver Fox Monorail hub

You would hope it would be built quicker than Green Park Station!

To make a serious point, aren't the actions of the council specifically designed to make the stadium site essentially worthless without Reading FC as a tenant?

Re: I've lost count - Embargos, HMRC Payent defaults, non payment of wages, the usual under Dai Wrongge

I've seen some talk of a hardship fund and a gofundme being set upon twitter. That's very well intentioned but I can't see it getting much support with people having no idea what will happen to the funds, will they get reimbursed etc. Also, assuming the staff get paid on tuesday, it's too late to ha...

Can we dispense with the protests today? Absolutely nothing positive can come of it. Everyone who needs to know the supporters want change are aware of it and nothing we can do will force it.

It sounds like things are moving so, for the time being lets just concentrate on the football for a change

Re: MATCHWATCH : Northampton Town (a)

My first time watching us away this season and it's frankly, terrifying. Regardless of points deductions, I think we will go down. This is an academy team playing at league one level. It doesn't show so much at home as visiting teams are more cautious and stand off us but away, the home team attacks...

I think in terms of the quality of the football, that was the worst game I have seen in 20+ years Hi Schards, you're getting quite a few mentions on AE at the moment with regards to your twitter activity, just though you might like to set the record straight on there... Re: Potential New Owners

Out of interest, what is the EFL threshold in terms of share holding before they have to go through their tests - IIRC it is now 25%. So if some shyster like Storey can pull the wool over Dai's eyes enough - which to be fair is likely to involve simply waving a cheque for a few million at him (or s...

Re: Potential New Owners

Irrespective of whether you want Dai to oxf*rd off or not do you think he’s just looking for a short term fix until he can get full access to his own funds? I still don’t see him selling up lock stock and barrel. He might just want a few million to cover the payroll over the next few months or so. ...
