Sun Tzu I'm quite happy to be wrong (are we going to get into an arguement in which we both fight for the right to be wrong !!)

I have no medical qualifications so am simply saying what I (believed) I saw.

I think I'm more wrong than you and am prepared to get nasty over it if need be !!!!

Chi, you have far too much time on your hands! My words on this subject all season have been : As to relegation - if we're relegated this season I'll happily stand bollcok-naked on the centre-spot at the MadStad before a game and dance on a Reading shirt. http://hobnob.royals.org/forum/viewto...

Re: Dismissals at Ipswich v Reading games

Yeah! we're a team of donkey clogging hardmen, that don't subscribe to the 'beautiful game theory' and the world (that usually ignores us altogether, has a conspiracy campaign against us) or maybe, just maybe, there's an outside chance that it's merely bad luck and the happenstance of playing footba...

Re: Back from the Game: West Bromwich Albion

RL is quite right! teams need the ability to 'win ugly' otherwise it gives the opposition an immediate psycholgical advantage. The best evidence for this is seeing Arsenal, a fine footballing side, with genuine world class players, being bullied out of games by journeyman footballers or cynical, phy...

Re: Minor miracle?

What he has done reminds me of a previous, "Beard-Day" the one where the theme was ancient religious prophets!

I don't think its overstating the case to say that until he got to grips with the team we looked like relegation certainties!

Re: What the papers say: Middlesbrough

On the Middlesbrough-specific pages of BBC teletext (after the first couple of common pages) it referred to Middlesbrough getting a draw against 'lowly Reading'. I saw that and wanted to complain!! When do we stop being lowly? Irritating yes, but if they underestimate us ala Luckypool then ...

[quote="Very near...far away"]It never happened in my day. The fans clapped and cheered non-stop. We all loved one another (even though it wasn't the 60s). Now we all have to be successful first time all the time, "second is nowhere". The perfectionists from Tilehurst, Whitley an...
