Re: Cedric Baseya

From a Southampton fan on another forum: Think Reading might be quietly surpsied in time with this guy. At saints he was relentless at youth team and reserve team level tearing defences apart with great goals-i remember watching him for once and thought we have a rather good player on our hands here...

Re: PLEA TO Y25/Y26

You pay the same as they do. So how does not looking at the away fans make you a better fan :?: Not saying their worse fans, just saying that some people are more concerned with what the away support is doing than the actual match. Nice edit :!: Thanks, I only removed the words "great fans"

Re: PLEA TO Y25/Y26

Next to me at the top of y26, have about 3 people to my right, who don't actually watch the match but just stare at the away fans for 90mins mouthing swear words, then leave early for both half time and full time.

Re: Absolute disgarce

Well i sit or rather should say stand with The Cap...... and we looked at each other in total shock of what we were listening to.... i don't want to be associated with fans that think its on to sing/chant such stuff! We are the first to get up and give some banter towards the away fans...... it was...

Re: Absolute disgarce

Well this has been blown entirely out of proportion. Yes it wasn't the best song to sing and not in the greatest taste. But with some of the reactions on here, it sounds like people believe we sang it constantly for 90mins. From memory, it got sung a couple of times, and not by everyone in y25/26. I...

Re: What is the best goal you have ever seen us concede?

Stephen Ireland, the last minute volley which landed in the top corner in the last minute.

Plymouths Jamie Mackie against us last season which flew into the top corner.

I always thought Etheringtons first goal against us in the relegation season was pretty good build up play and finish.

Re: The lamentable south east corner

There was once a time when away fans had at least a bit of a challenge from the home fans in the south east corner. Now our fans in that part of the ground seem to have given up even singing. Barnsley and Plymouth fans sang constantly and the response from our lot was.....silence. Why do you lot bo...
