Re: New signings

Whilst accepting that stranger things have happened, I can't find anything out there to corroborate any of this. That is not to say that it was being actively considered, but clearly did not come off on time. There are two separate deals as I understand it, swapping Howard and Harper and send Roseni...

Re: STAR AGM on Thursday

BR came across as very confident and I thought was very good. What he said reminded me of the night the Tommy Burns was appointed and came to speak to those who had turned up at a hastily arraned event on the Southbank. He talked the talk but as we know failed to the deliver. The difference is that ...

Re: Departing Players - A Question...

By and large old players who by definition will not be part of the re-build process. Scott Goldbourne clearly never pushed on which is a bit of a shame. I think it can be assumed that there is a bit of wage reduction being undertaken, not only on the playing squad but also in the management structur...

Hard to disagree with anything that he said. The only thing that I didn't like was the line suggested that we will stay up because there are three worse teams than us. That smacked of a potential complancency. The difference between David Kitson and Icke / Hoddle is that Kitson speaks the truth rath...

2 world wars, 1 world cup
Cripple Creek Fellatio with Angelina Joli.

Yeah I'd agree actually.

Which could be easily combined with watching the game. Best of both worlds.

Re: Be Careful Parking - Thieves About.

I am pretty sure this is in the wrong place, but if a moderator could move it that would be good, to somewhere that has a bit of coverage though would be a bonus.. I park on the outskirts of Green Park, near Pingewood, I know this is becoming a popular place to park. I would just like to let people...

Anschutz has a track record of finding undervalued assets and turning them into major players. Champions League here we come. 8) Check out Anshutz's wikipedia entry, he already owns the Reading Royals, abeit a minor league ice hockey outfit with their catchy 'Proud to be a Royal' strapline! http://...

Apart from Jack Mansell, Reading, for me, played the best pure football under Mark McGhee. I concur. So do I.....after not seeing the team live for a while I saw them outplay Derby in the League Cup and was staggered at the quality of football. We won 3-1 that night although lost the second leg 2-0...

Many people are already saying it is too dear and will not renew tho, is a conundrum for sure. Costs my dad £20 for each game he misses, has missed two so far, that all makes the per game price higher for him. Very true. I know a lot of people who brought one on the "it could be only one seas...

Riseley More chance of Mr Mad paying for my flight to Newcastle than the well-paid Reading skipper getting the chance to earn enough from a testimonial to open a newsagents.
