Re: I've lost count - Embargos, HMRC Payent defaults, non payment of wages, the usual under Dai Wrongge

Goodby Cat 1. Bit of a waste of time trying to get it back really. A good friend of mine is an academy scout for a premier League team. Supposedly a lot of the kids we have offered scholarships to have turned us down at u16 and we are already accepting bids for 13 years olds. Basically a firesale a...

Re: Ince out!

I don't understand how people on here are still backing Ince? What exactly is he doing well? The players we have are no where near as bad as he makes out. Surely it is all down to the manager and his negative tactics plus the "my players are all sh1t" interviews he gives. Very morale boos...

Re: Summer 2023 Transfer Speculation

What they managed to do is scout in some players for smallish fees - around a million or two and then sell big, which gave them the cash to buy more proven players like Toney Excellent scouting but think it started with finding Maupay and selling for 20m I think it was. Obviously a lot easier said ...

Could be a long night this. Unless we play 2 up top it's so easy to peg us back as all 3 cm's prefer to sit deep

So many overloads on our wings need to make it a flat 5 and a flat 4 with João alone up top for awhile

Re: George Puscas leaving?

We don't have a left wing back, and the only senior CB with any pace at all, has poor positioning doesn't want to be here, isn't wanted and has been scapegoated by the owner. A back 3 with our current senior players would be exposed because they couldn't cover the flanks well in behind the wing bac...

Re: George Puscas leaving?

If we have the squad to play with 2 up top then great. But lets not wedge players into the team just to use them. Play the best system for the players you have. That was VP downfall last season. he continued with his system still thinking we had Joao, Olise and Richards in the team, when the realit...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Fulham (h)

Random observation but was there only 1 player in the squad today that we have actually Brought(Puscas)? Am I right in saying everyone else was academy and frees? That shows how bad the club has been run when you are docked points for overspending yet the team that takes to the field has cost 0 in t...

Oh god, here it comes, ie “it won’t be so bad getting relegated comments” FML Good chance to get rid of the deadwood and rebuild........... Getting relegated could kill us. If you're happy to have that happen just so that someone buys Puscas then great. We don't really have any deadwood btw, we hav...

Re: Euro 2020

. Unfortunately we just didn't exploit the Italian centrebacks lack of pace and got trapped in our half.. Such an over simplification that everyone has trotted out about the back line of Italy, the two centre back in Chiellini and Bonucci have been two of the best cb's around for years and have nev...

Re: England - the future....

There's bound to be a lot of head shaking at including 4 right-backs but... Kyle Walker and Reece James have both played as the right-sided defender in a three (Shaw on the left) TAA possibly better as a wing-back than a straight out defender (haven't seen that much of him this season tbf) and Trip...

Re: Contract situation at end of 2020/21 season.

also suggests we can offer contracts...so lets get Tom Mc signed up please I don’t think contracts are an issue, more the pay rise that we can offer with them. If Southwood gas been told, sign on similar terms but you start as our first choice for 21/22 at least then he may go for it. Probably need...
