Re: MATCHWATCH : Shrewsbury Town (h)

Snowflake Royal Can anyone imagine this team in October going 0-2 down in 10 minutes and finishing the half even stevens and on firmly on top?

Although in October it would of been a few different players and in a woeful shape, I guess.

NathStPaul This bloke on the BBC Berks commentary is superior to Dellor in every way.

Weirdly I was thinking the exact opposite.

I couldnt stand the pronunciations of Afeez, Mbengway, and Mawla.

He also got way overexcited a few times when a shot went miles over / wide.

Hound Decent start?

We've made them look average. Mukairu should have scored.

Has Basil Tuma been injured or sent on loan that I've missed. Was a bit surprised to see Wareham leapfrog him in the pecking order.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Charlton Athletic (h)

Watched on iFollow. Button - 6 Didn't have much to do, made a couple of decent saves. His passing was really good. Yiadom - 6 Usual solid performance from him. Mbengue - 8 Long throws caused havoc, imperious since he came into the side. Bindon - 7 Mbengue without the long throw. Mola - 4 Awful forst...

Re: Selles In

When you work in these exotic locations are you providing security with your Royal Marine training? Do you get to carry a gun? If so, what gun? What wars have you fought in? Have you thought about going to Ukraine to fight? What is the coolest bit of mercenary army merchandise you have seen? Is it ...

Re: Selles In

wow, have you ever seen us play live? if not any plans too? Unbfortunately not yet. I had hoped to while in the UK but unfortunately I was earning very little and based and hour west of Glasgow so it never really happened. Since then I've been working offshore in Nigeria, Thailand and Bangladesh so...

Re: Selles In

How one becomes a reading fan having never lived here I suppose. I was born in Frimley in Surrey and my parents moved to Spain soon after. Neither of them cared for football at all so I never got pushed into supporting any club. Saw Leroy Lita score an overhead kick on the Coca Cola league highligh...

Re: Selles In

I was always Selles in. Had a soft spot for him as I've lived in Valencia my whole life. I did start to doubt him when he seemingly refused to change the 4222 when it clearly wasn't working. But has since One thing I really like about him is he's not afraid to bin off players that aren't pulling the...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Stevenage (a)

My observations on Mola Awful first touch Terrible at defending 1 on 1 with the winger. Looks lost when he ventures past the halfway line However Defending crosses at the back post was incredible, can't remember the last time we had a full back as good as him in this aspect. We would have lost the g...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Stevenage (a)

Mola is awful on the ball but his defending at the back post is some of the best I've seen from a Reading full back.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Stevenage (a)

Looked like Ehibhatioman flicked Mbengue's long throw on and Smith toe poked it onto the post and in. Yeah I that's how I saw it. I thought Kelv's flick and everyone missed it. I think they've gone with the Stevenage player winning the header against Ehib and everyone else missing it on the way thr...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Oxford United (a)

Button Yiadom - Bindon - Dorsett - Mola Savage - Wing Azeez - Knibbs - Mukairu Smith I expect that to be how we line up, not that I think we're better with Savage Mola could also come in to CB and leave Dorsett out wide. Don't think we're too stretched at the back. Think we can afford an injury / su...

I'm offshore in Bangladesh on a vessel. Managed to see the first 30 seconds or so of the protest before tye cameras got cut but massive well done to everyone involved, gave me goosebumps.

Having said that, don't let it get violent.

Re: Selles In

One thing I’ve noticed about Azeez which has made a huge difference is he is trusting his right foot a whole lot more Previously he was always cutting back. Now he is regularly putting in excellent crosses on his right The defender is now struggling as they want to keep him on his weaker foot, but ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Lincoln City (a)

That was never offside. There was a defender on the goal line when Yiadom shot through the crowd and it ended up at Knibbs' feet.

Think the first disallowed goal was also pretty harsh
