3-1 to them.

They'll get over their mini european hangover and batter us, but we'll keep the score down.

Re: Caretaker manager?

The Royal I'm hoping Hammond is the next to leave the club, a lot if managers don't like working under directors of football

Quoted just because I hope Hammond leaves the club regardless of the latter half of your post.

Re: Brian: The right decision?

I think if they were going to sack him, they should've done it in January. Whoever comes in has one hell of a lot to put right if the club is to stay in the league. For me that makes it a very poorly-timed decision, but if the right man comes in to take the club forward then it's still the correct o...

tl;dr - McDermott isn't a premier league manager. Reading need someone who is.

Re: Next Reading Manager

Anyone really surprised BM got the heave ho? I'm not in the least surprised as it's been long coming. First of all though - the man should be thanked for sorting out the hideous mess Brendan Rodgers was making. I've been a season ticket holder since Pardew took over, and never have I seen the club i...

Re: THE NEXT SIX IN THE RELEGATION DOG FIGHT!

I think Villa and NUFC are dead certs to go down. Both are having horrific seasons, the latter being bottom of the form table. I'd love the other team to be QPR, I really would. Absolute despicable manager and club, spending well beyond their means. Fulham, Wigan and even Sunderland despite their r...

Re: Release the Kébé

Have you been watching QPR by mistake? I don't think our full backs could ask for more protection than they get from Kebe. McCleary and HRK, on the other hand, are very lax with their defensive duties. Compare Man United at home with West Ham at home. In one, HRK allowed Evra and co. to run at Cumm...

Re: Release the Kébé

No he hasn't He was injured, barely played, then told Anton to spend some oxf*rd money and then turned our season around with great defensive performances and now great attacking ones too He's always had this inexcusably selfish attitude. At the end of the day he doesn't play for the team, he plays...

Re: RUMOUR - Iago Aspas

I don't think spending £8m on a single striker who is unproven in the premiership would be a wise choice. The club are right to pull out of this deal; can't really afford the luxury of a new striker in the relegation battle when currently Pogrebnyak and Alf are producing goals. Could well be a good ...

Played very well against Newcastle.

Has been utter, utter gash for much of the season though. I still think we'd be best off getting rid, too selfish.

Re: nicky shorey

Shorey pissed is still a better Premiership full back than Ian Harte.

If it wasn't for Feds, there'd be one hell of a lot more goals scored against the team. So many teams now target attacks down the right and are completely bypassing the static Harte.

Re: SPECULATION: Andrey Arshavin

Would Arshavin even fit into a BM team?

I don't think he's suited to kick and rush, floaty hoof balls and shying away from the ball tactics.

No way in hell is this guy 23 judging by his picture.

I'm not particularly excited about some guy who has been playing in a completely unknown league coming in to a premiership defence.

Did we not learn anything signing the likes of Fae and Khumalo?

Re: THE LEGEND MIKE GOODING SUGGESTED

Swap Kebe for Robson Kanu however......... He played well as a more central forward in the Championship and has an eye for goal that suggests he could be played further up the pitch. He'd be decent in a 4-3-3 but right not Reading don't have the luxury of guaranteed safety to experiment with new fo...

Re: Back from the game - Swansea

If ever there was a game to go aggresive 4-4-2 then this was it. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but with all due respect that says that you haven't got a chuffing clue. We might go 2 up on Saturday, but against a side who dominate possession and us on the back of 7 defeats on the spin we ha...

Re: Back from the game - Swansea

I was really pleased with the performance. Whilst normally the prospect of seeing MacAnuff leave the pitch with plenty of time to go would bring me great joy and relief, not today. He did alright - Kebe though was absolutely gutless. It's bad enough he doesn't give a whoopsie in the Championship yet...
