Re: Reading and Liverpool - same problems

Liverpool are notoriously unforgiving.
Adkins is safe for the moment because his presence fits the agenda...managed decline.

Re: *RELEGATION WATCH*

I won't be dragging my arse to the Madejski whilst NA remains in charge. Looking at the attendances, I'm not alone. That is the problem. Diminishing attendances, short match threads on here, NA is doing nothing to engage, entertain or encourage our support. Time for him to go.... Ok...then what ?

Re: SAMRITS BACK!!!!11!!

I wonder whether its worth looking a bit at Thai culture..and the following remarks are NOT about race, they are about culture. Anyone who knows Thai culture well will know that it is considered very impolite to give a direct yes or no answer. Particularly a 'no' answer. ... So the questioner will b...

Re: SAMRITS BACK!!!!11!!

Ian Royal He strikes me as a needy attention seeker who may be quite unreliable and just trying to impress people.

Agreed...and the 'one day all of you will know ' confirms it..as well as smelling like a wannabe's sweaty tank top.

Re: Gylfi Sigurdsson

Brum Royal According to the recent publication of players names in light of the various transfers, Gylfi's middle name is Thor. Remember that when he smashes one in to the top corner from range.

" I'm Thor " he cried, " your shorts are too thnug " said Garry Monk.

Re: Poll - Adkins In or Out

Yep, thought of as a genuinely decent bloke round here. Was in a barbers the other day and it turns out our Nige has his hair cut there and they couldn't have been more complimentary about him. Doesn't necessarily make him a good manager - but it is laughable to see people get personal with insults...

Re: Will you return to the Madejski once Adkins has gone?

I'm sorry, but this is a ridiculous question asked by a 'let's get rid of the manager because, well, just because...' sort of person. I have been watching Reading since 1967 and, believe me, I have seen some absolute dross in the 46 years since. It has never stopped me from being a Reading fan, whi...

Re: Poll - Adkins In or Out

Coppell was not the problem. Brian was not the problem. Adkins is not the problem. If Adkins goes in the near future it will be rearranging the deckchairs..and the new guy won't be the problem. #newguyout Yup lets start the campaign to oust him early, it will save time... There you go fellah..you'v...

Re: The best RFC game you've ever been to?

Reading 5 Arsenal 7 4th round of the Cup 2012. OK we lost..but it was the maddest most exciting game I have ever seen ! A neutral might agree. This would be my candidate for worst game (probably 2nd to Bristol Rovers). It wasn't OK. We lost. :( I have been a RFC supporter since the days that I coul...

No I am sure you are right...after all we have since 1998 played our football in a beautiful large stadium...which had the added advantage of dovetailing nicely with the owners business empire..and we have twice made essays into the prem..the first time this elevation seemed to cause nosebleeds in ...

Re: Madejski Sold out and failed again

Tbh, even if the disastrous occured and we were relegated this season (don't think it will happen), we have grown enough as a club that I very much doubt we would stay there, the larger clubs tend to get promoted eventually, look at Charlton, Sheffield Wednesday, Leeds, Forest, Southampton and Norw...
