sidwells chance will come when the cup of nations start, thats when he should be starting a few games in a row for chelsea, he might do well there yet, but im not convinced he'll keep his place once essien/mikkel come back. as for whether we miss him, i want to see Fae play and Cisse play a bit more...

his tackles were a disgrace if it was any other player we would have boooed, so he got what he deserved. what a prat Agree with that. I thought Sidwell was dreadful in the 45 minutes he played and perhaps deserved a bit of stick that he got during the game. Unfortunately we cannot afford to be smug...

i fancy us to do them 2-1, as stated chelsea look ropey in defence and not having essien means there midfield will lack any real defensive quality, 1-1 till the last 10 minutes when chelsea will start to play with some urgency after our goal, too little too late

Sebastian Probably gonna get slated for saying this - BUT - Halls has actually made one or two very good touches, and a couple of great passes.

Halls has always been touted as a good player by coppell.

completly agree with Ian Royal and JMW, whilst Beckham is still good enough, its another example of Mclarens short termism, and him bowing to media pressure.

Is Beckham good enough? yes.
Will Beckham push the team forward in the long term? not really, no

hooliganism in italy is intricately tied to politics. Because they have a more proportionate voting system, the far right parties veto anti-hooligan/ football legislation to retain there votes, im pretty sure roma was all seating anyway, just that no one was really sitting

i think bikey will develop into a good CM, comfortable on the ball, good distribution, not scared to tackle

1.5 is a bargain for a man who can handle himself in CM and DC, plus is only 21(?)

Oster turned down a call up to the Wales B squad a while back, stating that it was an insult as his qualities were known to all. Toshack doesn't like stuff like that (and I can see both points of view). Saying now that he's not sure he'd like to play for Toshack is a good way of making sure he does...

But Drogba has already scored 29 goals. Should he get more than 30 goals, he will surpass Kerry Dixon's record - is that true? Whereas Ronaldo has only scored 16 goals. All in the league. I never knew, until you just posted it, that player of the year is all about how many goals a player scores - a...

Right, Anyone who thought Oster was shit is blind. Bikey looked lost when it was 532 as did the rest of the team. Once we changed to 442 he was immense and hardly put a foot wrong. When he won the ball he was always looking for the right pass and found it more often than not. For 80mins he was supe...
