Re: Doyler's lowest rating of the season

I'm surprised that neither of the 2 Wolves strikers are in that list; I can't believe that those teams that are supposedly interested in Doyle wouldn't be just as interested in Iweulmo and Ebanks-Blake. Its all about having previous prem experience, Doyler and Shunt both had very good spells in the...

Re: First Reading game?

First ever game was on Boxing day when I went with my brother and dad. Dullest game of football ever. 26th December 1994 (League) READING 0 LUTON TOWN 0 Att: 11,623 Started going poperly a couple of years later with my first game being much more eventful. 21 September 1996 (League) READING 1 Crystal...

Re: Footage of Feds goal

looks like Rosenior back-headed the ball into Chopra's path, which explains the lack of an offside flag Don't think it does, he was offside from the origianal pass (twice) and it looks like there was a push in the back as well. Still its all academic and without it we would never have had A Fed up ...

Re: Little wants Shorey at Pompy

Those I'd probably place it that list off the top of my head and with my limited knowledge would be: Graeme Murty - When? Steven Gerrard - True but Reading have never had a true Homegrown fan of the club playing for them Fernando Torres - When? and possibly Cesc Fabregas, but I'm not sure. True

Re: New Team Sponsor

Sarah Star Do you think there'll be offers to John Lewis employees to come and support Reading too? I have a friend who works for them who says she might come with me one day, but so far I haven't been able to persuade her.

Very possibly, JLP have a number of really good benefits for their staff.

Re: Favourite Footballing Venues (non Reading)

wolsey Griffin Park was always my favourite ground (always wanted Reading to have a proper ground like that)

Aldershot's Rec was always a bit different.

Also like(d) to visit Gigg Lane, Northampton's old ground, Feethams and Wokingham's old ground

Re: Singing block at the Madejski

I love y24-26. There is no way I would move. I hate the view behind the goal, and love the banter with the away fans. In principle, a good idea - but we already have the singing block. By which I assume that you mean the North East Corner? Try sitting on the UW side of the stadium and you'll get a ...

As this is a "summing up" thread, I thought it best to look at the full squad and our coverage (excluding players out on loan who may return and even our youth players who may step up to the plate): GK - Hahnemann, Federici LB - Shorey, Golbourne CB - Sonko, Ingemarsson, Duberry, Bikey, G...

The fans were also asked to name their top 5 opposition players. Mentions for Reading were Sidwell (Newcastle I think) Lita (Can't remember which club) Lita/Doyle (Watford) Harper (Boro) Shorey also made it into one of their coloumnists Team of the season and she also had Ingimarson on the bench. Football club supporters do not watch their team on sky they are at the game you will not be missed When you eventually grow out of being a boy you might realise how stupid that sounds. And realise that you can no longer afford to watch the games because of the extortionate prices. And paying £60 ...

but let smith get away from him for a cross which resulted in the second goal. Wrong. He was nowhere near Smith as he expected Seol to track back. Greggy was not at fault for their second goal. Seriously I genuinely cannot believe what some of you are saying about Seol. Thought that he was easily our most creative player in the first half, set up a two good chances for gunnar, looked continously dangerous, he even won a few tackles FFS. I know Footballs about opinions but some of you are m...
