Re: Back from the Game - Southampton

I understood your comments, but i didnt book the tickets. And i would guess my mate wouldnt automatically assume that people infront of us would be standing the whole match. No matter where you sit, you will always have a 50/50 chance that the person in front of you will stand, hence why the steward...

Re: Back from the Game - Southampton

Mrs Butler - DONT GO TO FOOTBALL. It's a lads day out for a start, so if you want to come don't start moaning about people standing. People like you are the reason we're often referred to as "Gimp Fans". HOWEVER, when we sell out an entire away end, surely it would make sense to operate s...

Re: Back from the Game - Southampton

I honestly dont care, they are paid a hell of alot of money every week. They train through the week anyway, so surely them playing an extra game doesnt make a difference. There is no excuse for the way we played yesterday, apart from the fact that Coppell chose the wrong team. Now going to have a ra...

Mrs Butler Were not losing steam, Coppell just made some rather silly unnecessary changes today.

2 games in 3 days has nothing to do with it then?

Its their job, that is what they are paid to do.

Why change a successful and decent team, to the one yesterday, there was no need.

The personally don't think the team worked well together, no atmosphere and some of our fans were a total disgrace

So all in all a pretty depressing away game for me today!

....join the Karacan of Love Must.Try.Harder. to get this going. Not a bad effort c+ Very good! I personally think we should have the old Nigel Jemson chant at Forset.....it's easy.... "Jemmo, Jemmo, Jemmo....." I'm not taking credit for this. It's the two lads at the back of Y25 who were...

Re: The stewards are a joke

But i thought if fans were seen to be making rude and offensive gestures then they are removed from the groud, that is what the tannoy ?spelling? says before the game hen you're nannying, have you never made a threat of punishment to try and ensure good behaviour from the kids and then not carried ...

Re: The stewards are a joke

The stewards were only doing their job - they'll get sacked if they don't. You need to take your gripe to the Football Licensing Authority and Reading Borough Council, who are the authorities who make Reading FC enforce rules which are virtually unenforceable. There not doing their job though, see ...

Re: The stewards are a joke

Right i was actually thinking of writing a letter to Reading Football Club after last night.. The whole steward thing doesnt annoy me much but last night, about 4 Sheff Wed Fans ran to the front of their stand, and made several rude and offensive (to some) gestures, INFRONT of stewards. Why the hell...

Re: Top(less) away fan from last night

It was like he was there just for the attention and not the football.

The fact he wanted his claps at the end when he was leaving, and then stayed and did the pointless 2 and a half pressups, and milked the attention even more.

Re: Penalties

Just noticed this story on the EP's site http://www.getreading.co.uk/sport/football/readingfc/s/2033233_royals_pair_share_spotkick_duty With our not so great penalty record I'm not sure it really matters who takes them, but surely there comes a point where the manager has to put his foot down and m...
