Re: The most charismatic/moronic fan we have or have ever had

[quote="Franconian Royal"]Anyone for Uri 'I bend your spoon with my mind' Geller. Is it really true that he was invited to make a half-time team talk at Elm Park in the early / mid 90s? I am a bit too young to remember that. Only started watching us the season of the failed play-off final ...

Anyone know when Millwall away tickets go on sale? Less than two weeks away and nothing mentioned on club's website yet.

Reading v QPR Boxing Day moved to 7.30pm kick off for Sky TV

Would think this would serious affect the attendance being an evening kick off time on Boxing Day.

Re: Next Manager

Statistics can make people look good and bad, Hughes has been good at places and bad. Chris Hughton did well at Brighton before it all went badly wrong. In his last year (of four and a half at the club) he signed 9 players, broke the Brighton transfer record and was sacked after winning just 3 games...

Re: STs for season 2019/2020

I can't see the prices going up. Football is changing, the live midweek games put some people off attending when it's on the red button and the fact season ticket holders can bring other supporters along for £10 for these games means that if you are a season ticket holder (unless you go to all 23 ma...

Re: The League of 4

Beat Birmingham on Sunday and Rotherham lose and we finish NINE points above them . . . would make it look very comfortable for anyone looking back at the tables in years to come.

Could Stam be off to Oxford?

Could Jaap Stam be off to Oxford? You would think it would be unlikely but the bookies now have him down as fifth favourite for the job. Also their new owner Tiger (who brought him to Reading) has said Oxford will announce their new manager after the weekend after several things have been ironed out...

Would London Irish stay at Madejski if they get relegated?

Not sure if this has been anywhere else, but would London Irish remain at Madejski Stadium if they were to get relegated? Almost a third of the way through the season and they are bottom of the league without a win. The crowds would be really small if they went down (under 2,000 maybe) so cant see t...

Re: Ground share

Cant see this happening. Wont do Reading any good, any neutral fans would go and watch the Prem game instead of Reading.

There are more local grounds in around London for Brentford to share with I would imagine.

No need for loan players now . . .

Now Reading are safe from relegation, will they play some on the youngsters that started the season instead of the loan players?

Can't really see the point of playing loan players now over our own up and coming players, the majority of who haven't had a look in since Clarke took over . . .

Re: Bradford Pitch invasion fine?

I can't really see why Reading have been charged. Didn't Villa invade the pitch when they scored during the game? Reading's invasion was at the end of the game in celebration. This will happen at numerous clubs around the country over the next few weeks, those celebrating promotion and avoiding rele...

Re: Season tickets 2015/16 renewals . . .

We only had 12,500 this season and it has been awful. Change of manager but still dire to watch most of the time.

I reckon we will go under 10,000 for the start of the season. I hope I am proved wrong but most people I know are disillusioned with the club at the moment.

Season tickets 2015/16 renewals . . .

With the exception of the cup game, most fans cant wait for the season to end. Will you be renewing your season ticket next season?

I reckon we could dip under 10,000 next time around.

Brentford a home . . .

Read a link the other day that Brentford are in discussions with Reading about how many tickets they will have for this fixture at Madejki Stadium. Seems strange as surely we will just give them the whole away end (4,000). However, Reading are also not selling tickets for this fixture yet. Anyone kn...

Re: Replay tickets on sale NOW!!!

Reading website now saying all tickets sold to non season tickets have sold out.

Bradford have asked for the whole of the south stand. Fair play to them if they sell out for a Monday night fixture if it's live on BBC.
