Re: 15 to 17 points in 9 games

The way we have played recently is hard to see where any more points will come from.

QPR and Wigan are on the up (as are Villa after winning today) and Soton seem to be dominating games without taking their chances, the best thing for them would be to play us where they are bound to score a hatfull!

Re: Ian Harte

The way Harte fell over today, LOL. Dont reckon it will be the last we will of see that. But it should be last we see of Harte in the PL, (wont be though) he is another player its just time to drop. Shorey is a better player in terms of what he can give the team. His set pieces and crossing is pret...

Re: We are down. So next season who stays and who goes?

Would personally like to see Atkins come in now, not because I would expect him to keep us up but to give him a chance to start working with the team and evaluate what changes are required. That said I expect us to stick with Brian into next season. Players I think will leave are: Pog Le Fondre Pear...

Re: Beckham abused, should we do the same?

LA Galaxy must of given permission for Beckham to stay with Milan shirley? On the other hand, if he really wanted to continue playing for England why did he move to a tin pot Yank team. He can't really expect the fans to welcome him back with open arms. Agree that booing players is pointless and mo...

Re: Team for Boro

marcus murty sonko ivar shorey kebe cisse harper hunt doyle kitson subs: fed matej convey long lita reasoning: we need to return to the back 5 of last season who know each other inside out, but also need a tougher midfield, so put cisse there with gunnar as backup. give kebe a chance on the wing. g...

I think that the first goal against Boro was the most important of the year. Without it I think we would be finding the Prem a lot harder than we are - that goal gave us massive confidence

Sky website Reading withstood a late fightback from Burnley to move into the fourth round of the FA Cup after a 3-2 win at The Madejski Stadium. First-half goals from Leroy Lita and Shane Long, followed by a 55th minute header from Sam Sodje, had the Premiership club cruising through to the next rou...

OK, time for your thinking caps to be put on. Which was the FA cup game in the 70's that you had to go to the league game against York City (I'm fairly sure it was York) and were given a voucher as you entered the turnstiles that gave the an oppertunity to buy a ticket for the game against ????? I ...

I think the most important goal was the first one against Middlesborough (sp) as this let to the belief that we could do ok on the prem. Without this I think we could easily be in Sheffield's or Watford's position
