Re: Brighton Match Thread Sponsored by lack of ideas...

Would think its far more likely we'll see more of the youngsters on Saturday as he will not want to play the 11 that he is going to put out 48 hours later.

In from California. First match since Walsall away Dec 2003, so obviously excited despite our recent form.

Re: Elevation

What a great post. I was in London for a week in February (a football fan from the States who didn't have a team to support) and I guess the Gillingham match had been rescheduled for a Monday night so I took the train to the Madejski as I just wanted to watch some football. The folks I sat with took...

Re: Back from the game - Brighton (A)

Roberts had great hold up play, although he needs to just get on with it when the decisions don't go his way instead of clapping the referee or complaining. He's a top pro, but sometimes just needs to learn to leave his opinion out of situations and realise that the refs make the decisions and not ...

Re: Leeds (H) Match Thread - Sponsored by Ian Harte's left boot

Ideal
Royal Lady bastard ref.

+1,000,000

Now just to await news on Karacan's injury, how serious is it, will he play again this season?

Could be wrong of course but it seems like taking HRK off was to ensure he doesn't get injured because Karacan will not be available certainly for the two games this week

Re: Leeds (H) Match Thread - Sponsored by Ian Harte's left boot

Roberts has been massive, true. But this game will be remembered for Leeds' uninhibited and shameless thuggery, and how the referee allowed them to get away with it over and over. Absolutely, hard to believe that it should have been Leeds with 9 men, and not at all an exaggeration. And that makes i...

Though he wasn't involved in the goal Roberts has once again been massive today

Re: Leeds (H) Match Thread - Sponsored by Ian Harte's left boot

I can't say I've quite seen anything like this before (disgraceful Leeds + ref who has completely lost control of the game), but we'll only have ourselves to blame if we can't break down 10 men for 80 minutes, especially with all the set pieces we have failed to convert. Leigertwood's crosses have b...

Re: West Ham Match Thread

I think we'll likely see 8+ minutes added.

Hopefully we'll still have 11 on the pitch with the Upton Park Massacre that seems to be taking place for our side.

Re: West Ham Match Thread

Who was it that smashed it in from distance just after the Hunt pen decision was given. Great strike it was.

Can't believe we are 1-3 with the way things have gone.

EDIT: Ah Kebe it was. Thanks.

Re: STAR Exiles - Overview

Wondering if there are actually more Royal fans in Los Angeles that just don't post on hob nob? I hardly ever post on hob nob though I read daily. I'm formally of the LA area, now San Francisco. Was just browsing the Reading shop and damn, shipping is expensive for a college student such as myself,...

Re: Hunt - no talent??

Regardless of his many excellent assists (and goals) this season, it's often bandied about that Hunt is a player devoid of Premiership talent, who makes up for it with his passion; he's portrayed as some technically inept baffoon who just runs a lot. Well, today he performed a bit of magic taht I w...
