Re: Andy Carroll

So has he actually agreed to join us? Many posts read like he's already signed but nothing from the club or BBCRB etc.
Would be pleased if its true.

Re: Freebies

Its a shame he wasn't there on Saturday as it may have rekindled the good old times and may have given him the appetite to go out on a high and earn cult status at the Ding!! . There will be a clause in his contract saying he can't play football for anyone else whilst under contract to Southampton....

Re: Paul Ince Whelmguage.

Getting somebody's Dad in on the cheap is as good as we could hope for, I suppose. The thing is not to confuse the player with the manager, but it might be nice to have somebody bad at passing in charge who is a bit angry and wants all the younger players to call him, guvnor. Someone’s Dad is a bit...

linkenholtroyal Would rather Jerome Sinclair, or bring Hal back for a last hurrah for 6 months

No thanks to the second one. Hal only really gave 100% in a Wales shirt when he was our player last time.

Re: 2019/2020 accounts analsyis - from STAR

Just read the STAR report and thanks to those who took the time to analyse and explain. Whilst I appreciate the FFP rules are in place and apologies if this is naïve but what would be the consequences if the owners decided to drive a coach and horses through the rules and do a "Man City" b...

Financial Fair Play

We’ve had a great window with some exiting new signings. We don’t appear to have sold anyone that might have funded it.

Not long ago, the club said they were constrained by FFP from signing anyone.

Does anyone know if this has changed or are we doing a QPR?

Re: New Manager

You need someone who can quickly command respect from the players. Agree with others that we have had enough of untested ex players or rising stars from the Conference. If you want to turn it around you need someone with a track record. First choice should actually be Warnock but he won’t be an opti...

who do you want as the new manager

I'll start off by suggesting we could do worse than get Pardew back since its obvious he wont be long at West Brom.

had to happen as it wasn't going to improve. Hope they can employ someone good enough to save the team from relegation.

Pardew could be available very shortly - how would we feel if it was him?

Re: Where Are They Now

Apparently "Robson-Kanu will be remembered by all in the club, an instinctive striker with an eye for goal". Must be a different Robson-Kanu because the one I remember was a skillful winger who failed to live up to his potential because he believed his own hype a bit too much. Yep - talen...

Play off odds

According to Oddschecker, Reading are the outsiders at 5/1. Fulham are favourites, then Huddersfield then Sheffield. Considering we are in 3rd spot and with every chance of staying there, do we agree with the "experts"? I know Readings history with the play offs isn't great, but, I can't s...

Re: Rival Watch

It's a throwaway comment to their own local rag. He's not going to say any different really is he? Of course he could have. He could have said "Memories from that time for me will always be with me, it's the same here at Brighton - it's always something really special". Why feel the need ...
