Re: Thai owners

So the best case scenario is that our entire worth was used as fake collateral. I'm not exactly reassured. Here we go again..... I think the accusation is that fake share Certs were used as collateral. If they weren't used by anyone connected with the club then it's not really an issue for the club...

Re: Thai owners

If there really were £50M worth of RFC shares put up as collateral in the scam, then that would be about 100% of the club. That would also suggest that all of the shareholders who allowed their shares to be used in that way were partially involved in the scam. GPT Football Investment and GPT UK Inve...

Re: FIFA

It is crazy how much FIFA wants to protect Blatter. Surely the head of any organisation that has incidents of any illegal actions on their watch should be held accountable even if they were not involved themselves. Goes with the job surely? It does if you head up Tescos and have an accounting error...

Re: Can we just have a LOL thread for this man please...

The article says he's a life-long football fan but the Reading - Bradford game was his first live match. dafuq? He's a Liverpool fan. One of the early articles identified him as a Liverpool fan, and several posts he'd made on Liverpool forums confirmed that. For a while now he's been claiming to be...

Re: Bradford Pitch invasion fine?

So does this mean that every promoted club where there is a pitch invasion this year will be charged?, not condoning it, but surely the FA are setting a precedence? Promotion is very different. It's usually just a celebration of the team's performance that season. Winning a cup tie and going onto t...

Re: FAO Federici

That's just a snapshot. From where I was standing he had time to pass and Mackie would have scored. No doubt in my mind. He could have passed it here but I'm not convinced he'd have collected it and scored before the defenders were on him http://i62.tinypic.com/9babso.jpg A split second later it wo...

Re: FAO Federici

Just one little aside. Another person responsible for our failure...... Pog... he could have slipped the ball to Mackie in the 85 minute and I'd bet my house he would have scored to take us to the final. Just saying "slipped the ball to Mackie" How? By looping it over the Arsenal player t...

Re: Valley Parade fire disaster

Dai Brainbocs If it was an insurance scam, why on earth would you do it on match day with the close-season looming? Wasn't it the last game of the season? You'd have all summer to do it and the payout would be the same. .

Much more suspicious if the ground was empty.

Re: Valley Parade fire disaster

Fires at his other businesses notwithstanding, it seems unlikely to me that you would set a deliberate insurance fire with 1000's of potential witnesses present.. I suspect you're right as surely the risk to life would be obvious, but in some ways it would be an ideal time as you'd have a huge numb...

Re: Semi final tickets?

Zammo The next panic on this thread will be if or when we actually receive these tickets. Thought they were gonna be posted on March 31. Nothing yet.

Tuesday 14th should be last delivery date/panic date if they start posting them out around the 9th as promised.

Re: Tell us where you're standing/sitting at Wembley

Why is there suddenly "Yellow" tickets available in the lower tier? I thought the lower tier was Blue with the Red category being towards the middle of the pitch.... I reckon they might just be mistaken and have blue tickets, not yellow. If you look on the seating plan there is a thin yel...

UpThePrem Where is block yellow 111??? Now available online

Right behind the goal. You might be looking through the goal net.

Just noticed that thin yellow strip on the seating plan :D

Maybe that's why the blue blocks behind all seemed to say "upper".

Re: Semi final tickets?

RoyalBlue Does anyone know whether the website queue page does automatically update every 15 seconds as it claims?

Yes it does, and the address bar shows your queue position I think. It drops by around 15-20 every refresh.
