Re: LOLiverpooLOL - Next Season

With Andy Robertson getting injured again on international duty it does feel that Liverpool have done rather well this season to be where they are at this stage. The following have all been out for at least a month at various stages:- Alisson Alexander-Arnold Matip Konate Robertson Jones Thiago Szo...

Re: Football Rel8d Gripes

Loafer My only football related gripe is that nobody has shut Joey Barton up

You could shut him up yourself by blocking him and then filtering out his name on the Twitter app.

Probably beyond your intelligence level to do that though.

Re: Football Rel8d Gripes

Current football related gripe is football Twitter as a whole. I think Mr Musk should ban all football discussion from the platform.

WestYorksRoyal Imagine how shit it will feel if it doesn't happen now. The day I thought we were selling Bearwood is the low point to date, but this would top it.

If it doesn`t happen we are done.

Surely he isn't serious. Just had a quick measure: Footprint of Royal Mail site - 11,837m2 Footprint of SCL - 101,695m2 Footprint of Elm Park - 50,306m2 So yeah, just need 10 times the size of the RM site to fit a football ground and everything else required... that tells you all you need to ...

It doesn't bother me but I think it is a dumb thing to do in general. Just leave the flag as it is, don't invite negative attention or uproar.

WestYorksRoyal Would there have been scope to redevelop Elm Park instead of building the Madejski? Presumably a more expensive project and more limitations in a residential area.

No hence why they moved.

Re: Anyone For Chinese?

windermereROYAL The old royal mail site down Caversham road has been unoccupied for 15 years or so, could build a decent size stadium there.

Oh yeah would be a great spot. I am sure traffic flow wouldn't be an issue.

Re: Blackpool H

Last game of the season usually gets moved to an early kick off? 12:30? As we're now L1, I think it will be 5:30pm. Championship - 12:30pm League 2 - 3pm League 1 - 5:30pm BOOOOOOOOOO Really like a half 5 kick off. Go out for a nice lunch, have a few drinks then go to the game. You can really make ...

Yeah, that's it. The mind boggles. Can only assume he specialised in convincing people to commit suicide who were on the fence about it. He'd certainly motivate me to end it all. Thanks, you've reminded me of Red Dwarf and the bit about Rimmer's stint on the Samaritans helpline. Yes good shout!
