Re: EASY EASY EASY

AbovetheI Oh for real. What was with the chair banging brigade tonight? And I swear to christ I heard a vuvuzela tonight.

Yeah, the vuvuzela was right in front of where I was in sitting in Y23.

And as for those two kids who ran onto the pitch

Re: Back from the Game, Northampton Town 24th August

That wasn't a good performance at all. It wasn't even the fact Northampton were a good side imho (apart from their penalties), we were just awful. Antonio was the only brightish spark, but ended up getting injured. Karacan had the shot of a nervous blind man, Williams has no pace and got continuousl...

Re: Pre Season Previews

442 magazine has us finishing tenth. That's the same 442 that thought we'd finish 8th in 05/06 and 3rd last year due to our young ambitious manager. These predictions from so called experts are complete b0ll0cks and should be taken with the biggest pinch of salt known to man. We may finish 7th, 10t...

Re: Other World Cup squads

Totti's retired from international football, hence why he hasn't been selected by Italy. Agreed with Paddington about Nasri and Benzema being left out, that does seem strange to me, as does Pato for Brazil. Argentina squad Goalkeepers: Sergio Romero (AZ Alkmaar), Mariano Andujar (Catania), Diego Poz...

Re: Worst Reading player this Millennium

Bas Savage John Halls Sean Evers Greg Halford Sam Sodje I was close to putting Andy Gurney in there as I don't really remember seeing him have a good game. But Sodje goes there because my main memory of him was getting sent off! I'm surprised Halls hasn't been mentioned yet either, but I suppose he ...

Re: End of Season awards

Player of the Season: Gylfi Sigurdsson Most Improved player: Jimmy Kebe Best performance: Liverpool away was something special, but it's got to be Peterboro at home. Worst performance: QPR away Prediction: If we somehow managed to sign Griffin, Khizanishvili, and Bertrand (no chance I know), then we...

Re: Dullest match you've ever seen Reading play in

Reading 1-0 Luton, Carling Cup game in 05/06 season. Lost count how many times Eric Obinna got offside, and the only goal came from a fluke John Oster free kick. Either that or the previously mentioned 0-0 borefest against Plymouth. Think Sonko played up front during the match.

Re: What is the best goal you have ever seen us concede?

I remember recalling a Preston player (can't remember who) scoring with a great shot when we beat them at home 5-1. Anyone else recall it? Think it was in the 2002/3 season, nearly all of the reading fans applauded it.

43. Couldn't believe I forgot Buffon and Schweinsteiger. Also didn't get Deco, Kanoute, Sagnol, Vieira and Lassana Diarra. Kanoute makes $8.2 million?!

Federici

Gunnar Ivar Mills Bertrand

McAnuff Cisse Karacan Sig (if fit, if not Tabb or Howard)

Rasiak Church

Don't change the first XI unless there is an injury. Have Griffin, Thor, Long, Tabb, Howard, Pearce and Hamer on the bench and add Robson-Kanu if Sig isn't fit enough.

Re: MOTM for greatest match ever played this season

Well this has made me happy and proud of Reading for quite awhile! Superb spirit shown throughout and everyone should be proud. Gunnarsson was awesome (seems to always raise his performance for the big games), along with the rest of the defence, Shane Long had a great impact, and Church just kept go...

Re: Back From The Game: Liverpool

Thought we looked fairly good, but I wouldn't say that should give McDermott the job. I was impressed with McAnuff today and some of the team's attacking moves was nice but with the final pass either going astray or intercepted. Glad to see our set-pieces being dangerous again as well. However, tha...

Re: Next Manager

Jesus christ, some of these suggestions are awful. Paul Hart, against the odds admittedly, didn't help out Pompey at all, Darren Ferguson didn't do well in the championship with Peterboro, Adams has been rubbished at every manager's job he's had, not a fan of Southgate (imho he was the reason why Mi...
