Re: Welcome back Brian!

Utterly meh. Sorry. Would love to be positive but I just remember the abject favouritism and continuous blind selection of underperforming favourites. Hope to be proved wrong.

Re: Ola John or maybe Adios John?

We are great at signing players who have some degree of pedigree and then not playing them. I still don't know if Emerse Fae was any good.

This guy has made a difference whenever I've seen him.

Re: Who do you want to replace Clarke?

Fair enough if they went for someone else that was actually a better option than McDermott, but not Neil Lennon, he is nowhere near good enough. Good to see you giving a young passionate manager who won league titles (I know...they were only in Scotland) and plays attacking entertaining football a ...

Re: Who do you want to replace Clarke?

The Bolton fans rate him. HMRC winding up petition on BWFC now confirmed. And just stop and think....if BMc was coming back why is Kuhl in the dug out for PNE? http://www.theboltonnews.co.uk/sport/wanderers/14138033.BREAKING__Wanderers_receive_winding_up_petition_over_unpaid_tax_bill/

Re: Who do you want to replace Clarke?

Little bit more coming out about Lennon - Bolton due to go into admin tomorrow and the compensation from us will be paid towards their debts (clearly won't touch the sides). Bolton's squad and management haven't been paid for some time. From what I hear he could do a job - has zero resources there. ...

My therapist tells me it is either Carlisle or Cardiff away. She is too stoned to nail which "car" it is.

Re: The New Manager Poll

Fairly "meh" with all the names being thrown about.

Bookies have it as BM vs NP with nobody else in the frame.

Suppose I still am a bit upset @ BM for having no plan B in the prem during the "over performing championship side" season.

Re: BFTG Huddersfield (H)

Chris Powell sacked by Huddersfield after the game. Apparently the board wanted him to put more faith in their youth players, which he actually did last night. Odd decision as I thought they looked decent.

McShane motm for me.

Re: McCoys Crips ticket promotion

Was just talking about the winners and losers here with a Forest fan who has just won tickets off these codes. McCoys are "Official Crisp Partners" (!) and are clearly paying for the privilege. That money goes into the FL, who assumedly pass *some* £ back pro-rata to tickets won to the clu...

Re: McCoys Crips ticket promotion

Just booked my Reading vs Huddersfield tickets. They do not get loaded on to your member card, but they did use it to cross reference me. They gave me a choice of where I wanted to sit and leave the tickets @ the ticket office. Need to show them the mail to pick up.

Footage of us playing Wolves was on in the background whilst Brad Pitt assassinated someone at a poker game in the 2005 film Mr & Mrs Smith. Not sure if it is at the Mad Stad or not tho https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3QEMMa12sFo

EDIT - just seen the comments above!!!

Re: CONFIRMED - Michael Hector to Chelsea

From a selfish point of view, good news for the club itself as a move to CPFC would presumably not have included the loan back clause. Bad news for the player himself in that he'll be consigned to Chelsea's 'buy and rent out' policy for the next few seasons. At least he'll be set for life I guess, ...

Re: Post Summer Transfer Window Predictions/Expectations

I think top 6 is do-able. Bookies see top 2 as a two horse race between Middlesborough and Hull. Have Hull done anything to warrant this? Apart from sell a lot of their players? No, but that is what makes betting on promo so profitable. The market is initially set by the bookies traders assessing s...
