Re: BFTG Birmingham

First half was pretty average but Birmingham never threatened aside from a complete fluke of a goal. The change of shape absolutely killed us. No need for it, and within 5 mins of the second half kicking off you could see it wasn't working. Despite that we should have still made it 2-2 before they k...

Re: FA Cup 3rd Round Draw

I have a feeling that a cup run is going to be the only potential bit of excitement for the rest of this season. One of the few this millennia where we're unlikely to get involved in either a promotion or relegation battle. Puscas scoring a hattrick in 4 minutes wasn't exciting for you? Hence, 'res...

Re: The idiots of Twitter thread

Ya boi LordCKS is at it again. Mark Bowen proved he is a manager with little to no tactical clue. #ReadingFC were never in that game. As much as our fans will cream themselves over the effort we were awful. Leeds had it easy and didn’t get it out of second gear. Long aimless balls to nothing up top....

Good to see.

Re: How times change

I have watched Reading since I was very young boy, sometimes able to sit on my Dads shoulders. My absolute number one hero became Colin Meldrum........ Then as a 10 year old, my friend Jimmy Fall moved up to Bootle, Liverpool ...and he took me to A field . I had never seen or felt anything like it....

Re: BFTG Preston (H)

I know Barney has been a fan since at least 1967 (we hitch hiked to Stockport in 67/68). I also know that Victor has been a fan for a long time. Mind you, I'm not aware that Barney supports another team, like Liverpool, for example. Well quite. This is like an unexpurgated Last of the Summer Wine. :D

Pepe the Horseman We'll win today, I'm sure of it.

I hate to disappoint you, but I'm going so hard to see past anything but a big fat L.

Currently 4 from 4 live and 1 from 1 streamed this season.

You're due a win x

Re: Next Manager

Keane would probably be ok for a short term fix, but can't seem him being a long term solution. Once the "Martin Allen effect" wears off we'll just end up back here this time next year, if not sooner. No one's gonna want to come here and play for a bully. Hughes would probably be more of a...
