Re: The Manager Sack Race/Merry-go-Round

Karanka 1/2 games from the sack you’ve got to think, home form has been abysmal

Also got to feel Corberan isn’t far off at Huddersfield, given the position the club were in when they sacked Cowley isn’t too far off what they’re on now

Re: MATCHWATCH : Bristol City (a)

Not much more to add. A good professional performance-early on the Yiadom/ Esteves partnership didn't work but got better as the game went on. Excellent simple Sky commentary from a guy that knew enough about both teams , so much better than our team at BBCRB. Oh, before the game some posters went ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Bristol City (a)

Your opinion is naturally valid but not sure what else you would expect from us as an attacking force - we're the second highest scorers in the league behind Brentford with only Cardiff, Bournemouth and Blackburn even breaking the 40 goal mark. If we have any issue it is at the back, as unfortunate...

Re: LOLiverpooLOL - Next Season

A (relatively) short bad patch doesn't make them a bad team at all Likewise, one good result doesn't put them back where they were I still don’t think performances were really too much of an issue. Sure, they weren’t hitting the heights of last season, but that’s almost impossible The main issues w...

Re: THE BETTING THREAD

Sure one of them will drop points, but not the hardest games on paper. Norwich Brentford Swansea Bournemouth 11/1 Will be interesting to see how Brentford react to their first defeat in ages, especially against an inform QPR team Can see Coventry getting something against Norwich too, not so sure a...

oxf*rd Ipswich pcunts Ipswich haven’t been on fire recently  Had something similar but with Portsmouth in who usually win their away games and were at lowly Bristol, alas not Thought they were due a win and Northampton have been pretty poor as well  PSG at 16/5 was quite nice. Do have to...

Re: Rival Watch

Barnsley Blackburn tonight too - whilst not being a huge game, bears some relevance to us as both can close the gap to 6 points by winning both games in hand. Therefore, a draw would be preferable here, followed by a Barnsley win because of goal difference Noticed Swansea have three games in hand (o...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Bristol City (a)

You sound like you need to find another hobby ! You must have started trying to think of negative things to say before the game even started.... Sadly after 60 years of supporting this club,it is no longer a hobby;more a life style choice.I said a few iffy performances.Estevez and Ejaria.I don’t ca...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Middlesbrough (h)

I guess with Moore and Puscas back (and also Meite/Swift being injured), it gives us a different dimension and perhaps the opportunity to use a 5-3-2/3-5-2 formation if required Noticed Boro played a formation along those lines last night so if Joao does become isolated against the three CB’s, we ha...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Bristol City (a)

Two fortunate goals and a few iffy individual performances. However Yids and Rino were excellent. The loanees were all poor;although to be fair Semedo did win a lot in the air.Another Ejaria screw up.It looks as if it is going to take time for Puskas to get up to speed. You sound like you need to fin...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Bristol City (a)

Not much to add really on an individual performance scale, but was a professional victory where we weren’t threatened Was the possible opportunity to go for the jugular but no real need given the flow of the game and how comfortable we were Bristol were abject though, you’ll struggle to find many wo...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Millwall (h)

:D of those 4, which ones did he win as playing as a lone striker, as that would indicate good hold-up/forward play? Also did well in his small cameo v Cov away this season. One penalty was a handball Other three were won by Rinomhota which surprised me actually, don’t remember him winning that man...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Millwall (h)

And yet he scored 14 goals last season which were probably nearly all scored as a lone striker. Unfortunately that isn’t quite true He scored 7 goals as a duo (Cardiff X2, Wycombe, QPR, Wigan X3) He scored 7 goals as a lone striker (WBA, Wednesday, Barnsley, Sheffield United, Luton, Charlton, Swans...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Millwall (h)

Disagree. He’s too slow to threaten many players in behind (although obviously there have been exceptions). Hold up play is a major part of his game, and he’s reasonably good at it, particularly in comparison to someone like Baldock. See e.g. his goal earlier in the season when Holmes fizzed a pass...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Bristol City (a)

I’d start with Aluko and Olise. Semedo had a decent game but we just don’t offer much of a threat with him in a central attacking role. Aluko has same goals and 1 less assist for 400 minutes less game time, and is more intelligent offensively, allows for better movement/runs and has better ball con...

RG30 Declan Rice FG 28/1 bet365 in running, on penalties. Huge price.

West Ham not been given a penalty yet this season, I hope you put it on after it was overturned!

Fair play mate!
