Re: ArsenaLOL

Looks like Ozil is finally off to Fenerbahce Was an absolute delight to watch for a while but hasn't had the same impact these last couple of seasons. Arsenal would be in a better position if they'd used him this season but Smith-Rowe looks a real talent so will be interesting to follow his developm...

Re: SpuROFLs

Final one under Jose it is - albeit a fairly straight forward route to the final other than Chelsea

More success for Jose in the short run possibly but he needs to try and sustain something in the long run

Re: BFTC - Huddersfield

HRK was a fairly ordinary player (useful option from the sub’s bench) who nonetheless ground out a good career for himself. I don’t believe all this “arrogance” stuff. People seem to like to believe that footballers (particularly black footballers) are arrogant but a player of such mundanity managi...

Re: BFTC - Huddersfield

Fair point. Definitely gets bonus points for that one. I was actually really pleased when we signed Edwards, always was impressed with him when he was at Wolves, but seemed like a shadow of that player when playing for us. He looked ok at first if I remember, really not suited to what Stam was tryi...

Re: LOLiverpooLOL - Next Season

Trent Arnold has never impressed me as a defender. Going forward he is one of the best but he has been utterly shocking tonight. Since Van Dijk has been injured he has bang average. I'd rather have Bertrand. Lost the ball 38 times tonight, the most in any game this season, and was at fault for thei...

Re: LOLiverpooLOL - Next Season

7 points separating top and 10th, going to be one of the closest races with more than 2 teams, for a long time I think. Can see City getting a run of form now - which I wasn’t expecting at the start of the season Next six games Brighton (H) Palace (H) Villa (H) WBA (A) Sheffield United (H) Burnley ...

Re: LOLiverpooLOL - Next Season

Whilst I don't think that the Jack Stephens handball last night was a penalty - he was only six feet from the rapidly moving ball - the decision of VAR to allow it seemed to fly in the face of previous decisions we've seen for handball this season - not least the one against Gomez for handball wher...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Luton Town (a)

something like Southwood Watson McIntyre Dorsett Bristow Tetek East Swift Onen Puscas Baldock in some sort of formation that suits them Is Tetek fit? Would go with something like this but maybe Aluko in for Swift. dunno if Tetek is fit. Swift only playing to get more match fitness. idea is he is 10...

Not a good month for Lampard and Chelsea Desperately lacking a defensive holding midfielder, all the top teams play with one, even McTominay for United is doing a job there. Kante doesn’t cut the mustard there, never understood the general clamour for him to play as a CDM Then you have the likes of...

Vic. I don’t doubt our owners ambitions. They would spend this month if they could but FFP will mean we are extremely limited in what we can do. Maybe bring in a loan signing or two. Would look for a LW to compete with Ejaria and perhaps another CM as I have doubts over Semedo’s long term involveme...

Re: FA cup game with Luton off ?

I’d like: Southwood; Watson, Dorsett, Abbey, Bristow; Semedo, East; Aluko, Lawless, Onen; Melvin-Lambert Swift and Puscas on the bench but hopefully not needed. Doesn’t matter if we lose but that team should be competitive. Expect we’ll get: Southwood; Esteves, Holmes, McIntyre, Richards; Watson, E...

Forgot to post my accumulator from yesterday which came in: Spurs Palace Norwich Blackburn Lincoln 24/1 Well played. Re: The Manager Sack Race/Merry-go-Round

Think Wilder will walk this week - however much he’s done for them, it’s difficult to justify 2 points in 17 games where his first four choice strikers cost in the region of £60-£70 million

As a side point, Norwood has very much become a scapegoat up there, we’d be happy to take him back!

Deliberately going down the leagues (and to avoid oxf*rd uniteds 5-1 away win)..it goes to Yeovil 2 Torquay 1 in the ‘Conf’ Very lowly Yeovil were destroyed 6-1 by Top of the League Torquay on Boxing Day  Came back from 1-0 down as well to win 2-1. Were 1 down in the 86th minute too

Sutekh 4th now. Might drop to 5th if Bournemouth win at Stoke tonight.

Aside from a draw, what result would we want here?

Do we start dreaming of the top 2 again (Stoke win) or keep consolidating our playoff position (Bournemouth win). Can’t make my mind up

Re: LOLiverpooLOL - Next Season

Didn’t watch against Newcastle as we were playing at the same time but sounds like Thiago had a good cameo off the bench and looked “a class above” As ever, need to get their injured players back ASAP. However strong their front three may be, not sure a midfield three of Henderson, Milner and Jones ...

This referee is doing a great job of closing the passing lanes get out of the fooking way you dopey pcunt! Made up for it by giving you a dubious pen In his defence, from the original incident, it did look like a pen but delving further into it, it looks like Pogba had kicked his own leg Still, it’...

AthleticoSpizz Fosu-Henry knocks one in for Brentford again tonight

Am I missing something here?

Wasn’t today his first goal for Brentford?
