Re: #SellBeforeWeDai (to someone fit and proper)“ supporters action group

This won't be a surprise to anyone, but I was chatting to my (very reliable) source yesterday and he confirmed that everyone at the club, from Bowen down, is fully #sellbeforewedai. As in they are actively working against the owner and Pang. He was saying that, actually, Pang is considered to be th...

Re: Racism Shame

One assumes that a Reading ‘fan’ hasn’t looked too closely at his own team members for the past fifty plus years? Going by his name, and how he looks, he also seems to be Turkish, so has probably been on the receiving end at some stage of his life, too. It's one thing to put out a racist tweet, but...

Re: Racism Shame

Fezza That's ffffing disgusting. Hope the toad responsible is identified and prosecuted.

To any Orient fans reading, I can only apologise that this turd has decided to abuse Daniel.

He's been pretty thoroughly named and outed. The abuse was on twitter, and it seemed to be fairly easy to find him.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Leyton Orient (h)

Royals and Racers 15,972 attendance.

It was a better crowd than usual, but as usual, the announced figure tends to look about 2000 above the number actually there.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Leyton Orient (h)

Winston Biscuit Port Vale now the team immediately above us in 5th from bottom. Lol.

The bottom half is pretty tight above the relegation zone, and the odds are that at least on of those teams will have a nightmare slide in their form. If we can keep picking up regular points, we'll probably be ok.

Winston Biscuit Just flatten it all and get on with building the Biscuit Tin Megadome somewhere dayn tayn

Sadly my plan to buy up the buildings around the cattle market and build a new stadium there was foiled by my Euromillions ticket not winning.

Re: TAKEOVER *NOT* CONFIMRED

The plan is for the local football busses to do two trips, so you get there hours before kickoff or just before depending on which bus you get. The problem is that few will want to get there that early, and virtually nobody will want to wait for the second trip back after the game. I use the Foster...

Re: TAKEOVER *NOT* CONFIMRED

This. If it gets a deal done, then continuing to pay rent (remember the club pay Dai rent now) is not a big deal esp if the deal is worded along the lines of "Rent will be X for Y years. Club will have the right to purchase the stadium at (set price) at any point up to and including (agreed da...

Re: TAKEOVER *NOT* CONFIMRED

I was of the understanding that the Thais own the car park for the royal elm park development whenever that comes to fruition. I think that's right from what was in the Chronicle. Saw some plans for "Royal Elm Park" which covers all of the current car park. There is a multi-story car park...

Re: TAKEOVER *NOT* CONFIMRED

If he kept the stadium, the rent would surely be negotiated alongside the sale. Any sensible buyer would want to lock in a fair rent for 5-10 years. So whilst it's not the best outcome, it would not be the disaster some fear. This. If it gets a deal done, then continuing to pay rent (remember the c...

Interesting interview Does make you wonder what the hell Smudger Smith was going on about. Clearly absolute nonsense fed to him there Yes, the interview does make that "leak" even more damaging for him and his follow up about things changing already seem even more bizarre. Of course, Howe...

I wasn't at that game. From the season review video, there were horses on the pitch but I don't know whether there was a charge: https://youtu.be/OcAB7FD7Ro8?si=VDteuzy8rvRlSpNK&t=3734 There wasn't a charge but I remember one copper screaming "Get back you c***, get back" at me. They ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Derby County (h)

I was expected a 3 point deduction and to lose tonight. Delighted to be wrong on both counts, or we'd be 10 points behind. Why were you expecting a 3 point deduction? Has anyone been deducted 3 points for a single pitch invasion? Because it wasn't just a pitch invasion. It was a deliberate act by o...

The official site appears to have gone back in time, and thinks the Derby game is postponed, and our next game is v Eastleigh. https://www.readingfc.co.uk/match/first-team/2023-24/g2371283 https://www.readingfc.co.uk/matches/ (this will no doubt have been fixed by the time anyone sees this) It's ha...

Re: Embargos, HMRC Payment defaults, non payment of wages, the usual under Dai Wrongge

So tax paid and a Charlie Savage pay rise, is Dai getting his act together before he sells? No, that's all the Holmes money gone. Agree - I think its very likely now Dai wants to stop funding/or bare minimum, so the Abbey money plus anyone else who leaves will cover wages and tax for a couple of mo...

Re: Embargos, HMRC Payment defaults, non payment of wages, the usual under Dai Wrongge

Royal_jimmy Port Vale definitely hard done by.

If we stay up on the last day by beating Blackpool don't invade the pitch or those 3 points will be taken away - aka relegating us

I don't think that would be the case, luckily, as it seems to only apply if the game is abandoned or postponed.

Re: Do you agree with todays pitch invasion and match abandonment?

I will LOL if fans invade the pitch again and it's abandoned! I'm sure at least one fan will try, then realise he looks a bit stupid with nobody joining him, and will run off again. Just had a flashback to one tubby 'hooligan' at Plymouth running across the pitch towards the Reading fans at Home Pa...

Re: Embargos, HMRC Payment defaults, non payment of wages, the usual under Dai Wrongge

A few odd comments on twitter about the EFL "not following their rules" by not awarding Vale the win. I'm pretty sure there's no rule that says a game is awarded to the other club if fans get the game abandoned.
