Re: MATCHWATCH : Luton Town (a) sponsored by Sean Evers

Old Man Andrews That's Liam Moore binned for good then. Such a shame Swift wasn't also dropped for his awful displays recently and an even bigger shame to see him captaining the team. Utter shambles.

He’s a very odd choice as captain.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Luton Town (a) sponsored by Sean Evers

Plenty of changes. Initially I thought we were playing three at the back but is it five at the back with Blackett and Rinomhota as wing backs?
Any ideas on the formation?

Re: MATCHWATCH : Luton Town (a) sponsored by Sean Evers

After we beat Fulham we had 35 points from 25 games so only 14 points from our last 15 games which is dreadful. Said on here before that we have been in relegation form for most of this season outside the festive period with just 37 points from 36 games.

Re: Rival Watch

You guys are aware that Miazga and Morrison have scored as many goals as Cooper this season right? In fewer appearances. Far fewer in Miazga's case. And we've only conceded 4 goals more than Millwall? Get stuffed you Ed Davey wannabe. If you look all three in terms of goals scored per League appear...

Re: Reading players out of contract in summer 2020

I'd really like the manager to be in charge of transfer policy with Howe setting him a budget and someone who knows football and players negotiating the deals and signing off each player is good value. I think divorcing managers from the financials has led so many of them to be totally clueless and...

Re: Rival Watch

Their other centre half being Pearce. He didn't play last night and I think he is only used as a back-up. I always thought we were a bit hasty in getting rid of Cooper who is a real physical presence and his passing is not as bad as some make out. He also scores goals-last night with his "wron...

Re: Reading players out of contract in summer 2020

If that's true, and some of its believable, the absolute LOLLY at us for paying Moore £35k a week and any if these chances £20k or more. Even some in the teens would be well over paid. EDIT: Just to be clear we could play this team next season Cabral Yiadom, Morrison, McIntyre, Richards Rino, Olise...

Re: BFIFollow Brentford

Same here, Harper like. Harper played with energy though and covered ground. Suggesting Harper slowed the game down? He's the guy that kept our tempo up. Moved the ball on quickly to full back and winger to get forward. He had a spell a couple of years ago when he seemed to have regular hamstring p...

Re: Swift to... Southampton

I don’t think either of the touted moves would be good for him and the fees being talked about are derisory. Swift is three times the player that Sawyers is - literally. In 126 matches for Brentford Sawyers scored six goals. In 127 games for us Swift has scored 18 goals. In 27 games for Brentford S...

Re: Season Ticket Refund?

Snowflake Royal Sandman had a lot of problems with it and gave up v Brentford. Seemed to say he wouldn't use it again as a result.

So some people may be having more problems. But I've not experienced any.

I had initial problems for the Stoke game and took a while to get on but it’s been fine ever since,

AthleticoSpizz Despite now being only 6 points from the drop ourselves.....it’s lovely to see Sjoke and Maclean in the bottom three 8)

Agreed. Wigan might save Stoke. It seems very hard on Wigan that they will be deducted 12 points given the pandemic.

Yep we definitely need something from the Luton game. A draw would be ok.

Re: BFIFollow Brentford

Massive fan of Ejaria here. But from what I've read the criticism is fair and level headed. No-one is knocking him saying he's rubbish, just that he needs to brush up in some areas to become as good as we know he can be. He's still young of course and will mature nicely. I put a lot of it down to h...

Re: Swift to... Southampton

Do we think Swift would simply jump at the first chance to play in the Prem or do you think he'd hold out for specific teams to come in for him? Would he really relish playing for Sheff Utd or Leeds when another team's style might suit him better or offer better opportunities? The lure of top fligh...
