Re: Coronavirus outbreak

tmesis
Franchise FC
tmesis To paraphrase Brasseye, while recorded cases are starting to fall, cases we no nothing about have doubled in the same period.

If we no nothing about them, how do we know they’ve doubled ?

Just asking

Did you ever watch Brasseye?

Re: Generic clubs in financial crisis Thread

The Transfer window (if there is one) will be interesting. The likes of Spurs were asking 150mill for Kane......no club will have that cash floating around now. Will be interesting to see what money is paid and if the transfer prices plummet which in reality they should. Will Kane be fit too? How l...

Re: Coronavirus outbreak

2 world wars, 1 world cup A friend told me it's not a virus it's just waves coming from 5G masts. The stats seem to fit this theory as countries with 5G masts seems to have deaths. Use your phone less.

Re: Enjoying or hating the no football era?

It will be a hell of a party when we get going again for sure, but thats still some way off. If it lasts a year or more, how many businesses in the entertainment/leisure industry will still exist after a year of no income? In two months time people will have had enough, and the only things that wil...

Was on the phone to my colleague from France - she corroborated this unprompted and before I read this... The latest stat was that when the Govt was saying 171 deaths they'd omitted 40 23.4% is a LITTLE bit out to put it mildly. Maybe there will also be some treatment by then which makes it less deadly. Now the world knows how the gay community felt in the 80s. Not a great feeling is it? Urm no.. Slightly loaded comment. With hindsight I agree it’s a classic case of White Cis-Male Privilege Straightsplaining at its worst. ...

Re: Coronavirus outbreak

Fact of the matter is this virus isn`t going anywhere, until a vaccine is developed it`s always going to have a chance of flaring up again. uncertainty will be around for at least another year, can we really see full football stadiums again in that time? I think by about August/September I can see ...

Re: Coronavirus outbreak

Yes. Btw My initial point was a vaccine HAS been produced. And it was made quite early on too, much quicker than expected. Of course it has to go through required tests. But it’s there. The context of my statement is that many feared it wouldn’t be so easily made, or would be delayed. It was on the...
