Re: Next 6 games?

Huddersfield have a strong home record. A win would be a great result and I'd settle for a point. Joao on the bench would be a nice option though.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Swansea City (a) sponsored by a no pressure game

genome Morrison aside, the defence was so inexperienced tonight. Ages of 18, 20, & 22

You have to wonder if our hierarchy would have allowed McIntyre and Holmes their chances were it not for FFP. And what a ahead that would have been; I see no reason why they can't feature for years to come.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Swansea City (a) sponsored by a no pressure game

Terrific point. A bit fortunate but will take that allll day long. One game closer to getting Joao back. MOTM Raphael. Swift has to start next game, we were actually competitive and arguably the better team when he came on. Swift changed the game. Gave us a foothold in possession and agree we argua...

Re: Next 6 games?

4 points from the next 3 would be ok. We really need to turn this dogshit record v Swansea around. We've not beaten them in any game since 2008. W0 D5 L8 F8 A24 That is a pathetic record. They're the biggest bogey side I can remember us having. I'd be interested to see our recent record vs Sheffiel...

Re: Rival Watch

Reckon it’s the top 5 then the next 4 battling for 6th I think we’re better than boro, Stoke and Bristol c tbh if we can keep the main men fit If we can scrape 6th spot then go into the playoffs with a fit squad, I'd give us a decent chance, even allowing for our woeful playoff record. Is the 2nd h...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Luton Town (h) sponsored by Tony Barrass

Oh and just for the traditional after game comment. How bloody good is Josh Laurent and how did we manage to pick him up on a free/why was he playing for Shrewsbury last year etc etc The fact he stands out so much illustrates how much others lack. What an incredibly negative way to look at things. ...

6 points from the past 4. You'd have taken that with injuries. Very important wins against QPR and today, and no cause for concern if we lose to Swansea.

Re: Rumour - Richards to Everton

People talking about £2m as a figure given the contract. Does that not seem low?

We're 5th and could conceivably get promoted. For £2m, I'm tempted to forget about it and risk letting him go on a free in order to maximise promotion chances. Offer £5m - £6m and I'm more tempted to bank it and move on.

Re: Rumour - Richards to Everton

This is a good move on paper for him. Chance to play for Ancelotti at a premier league club that is kinda always just there. Digne is one of the best LBs in the league so can't imagine game time would be hugely available. Would be nice if they loaned him back till the end of the season. Digne has b...

Re: BFTG Norwich

Watch the replays, particularly the one behind the goal which shows that he clearly launches himself into the air. Why did he do that rather than shoot? Because he had taken a poor touch and was struggling to get the ball back under control in time. Also Rafael was well positioned. To play devil's ...

Re: Opposition fans back from the game

"It does amaze me skimming through there forums and to see they would have probably got a good result if they didnt have so many injuries. How we’re not all that as well. Obviously must of missed a midfielder player playing at left back, first choice gk out, Onel, Mumba, Idah, Rupp and Plachet...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Norwich City (h) sponsored by as tough as it gets

I thought Gibson had a tendency to drift narrow, just as you'd expect a CB playing at LB too. Most of Norwich's threat came down the right, which is partly due to the quality of Aarons. But we definitely left space there.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Brentford (a) sponsored by injury problems

Will take a point here. Agree with comments on squad depth. Our first XI is good, and then Swift, Puscas, Semedo, Holmes, Gibson, Southwood and McIntyre range from very good to useful. But beyond that, the players we're being forced to use are either not ready for this level or simply not good enough.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Norwich City (h) sponsored by as tough as it gets

Norwich are a good blueprint to follow. The way they recruited and used the Maddison money to strengthen was excellent. We should aim to do the same with Olise. I do think our first XI would have given them a better game, but they simply have the depth you get from several years good recruitment an...

Re: Opposition fans back from the game

Reading their forum it doesn't sound like they do. Apparently a nailed on pen, decent performance by the ref and we only had 3 players out injured. Tbf, the pen was a classic "bought it". Big lunge by the defender, tiny bit of contact, attacker makes the most of it. It would not have been...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Norwich City (h) sponsored by as tough as it gets

No one who works as hard as Baldock does is stealing a living. He’s being asked to play a role that he can’t do, that’s not his fault. Needs must at the moment. He needs to play as a part of a front 2. Certainly not a player who can play the lone striker role. He gets a lot of stuck on here I think...

Ascotexgunner 4 mins.
I'm sorry but I would have kept Aluko on. Baldock just offer nothing.

Baldock is stealing a living. Imagine if we could spend his wages on somebody useful.
