Re: This is Poor

I have a fear that we're very negative/cagey in the first 10-15 of games. Even Cardiff had most of the ball in the opening of that game. We did well vs them and WBA in drawing the sting out of their opening before getting them on the break, but it's not always going to be like that. I hope you are ...

Re: This is Poor

Really, a better performance than against Charlton?
did you watch the game or are you actually quoting BBC match report statistics?

So lets take the last away game. Was yesterday better than against Huddersfield?

Re: This is Poor

Anybody who can't see the improvement from when Gomes joined is utterly deluded and needs to get a oxf*rd grip on reality.

What improved yesterday compared with the last game?

Re: This is Poor

Out of interest did you think we were poor against Cardiff / WBA / Huddersfield? Look at the facts. The new signings have been here for 4 weeks. Get a grip man I posted the following on Aug 25th: "well one thing is for sure, we are not going up if we continue to play like this. Once the season...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Middlesbrough (a) sponsored by a Simon Cox chip

Gomes comments after match: "(George) Puscas, (Lucas) Joao and Pele didn't start. Pele and Puscas had travelled for their national team, but that was not the only reason why they did not play. The reason was that I did not like the way that they played in the last game. They must give everythin...

Re: This is Poor

Nice constructive reply does this help if it makes you discuss the team This team is poor. IMHO I think its the manager and his tactics that are not up to standard as the players have shown themselves to be quite skilful. The substitutions were awful and the team immediately lost all structure. This...

This is Poor

Ok, I have seen every game this season so far and now is enough. This team is poor. IMHO I think its the manager and his tactics that are not up to standard as the players have shown themselves to be quite skilful. The substitutions were awful and the team immediately lost all structure. This nonsen...

Re: Quick question, or not

Very different meanings. A "fan" is a more generic term and a fan is loosely connected to a club. A supporter is closely connected to a specific club, is interested in the players, the club history etc. etc.. I am a football fan but a supporter of Reading. Fans go home early when the club ...

Re: BFTG - Charlton

doesn't matter who the opposition were, we weren't good enough. When good the royals look exciting but this is not happening enough. We still spend too much time out of games , chasing the ball, chasing play. Our aim should be to win games, do that you need the ball and you need to score goals. Woul...

love the sig pic Norfolk Road. A proper footy ground. Yep, great memories. Saw some great matches. Steve Death and Robin Friday I will never forget. One a fantastic goalkeeper and the other a great entertainer on many levels. Remember us beating Wolves in the league cup at Elm Park, 1978 I think, f...

still sheffield wednesday at home. They are struggling against Rotherham tonight and we wouldn't mess about second time around. Then a nice juicy tie in the next round
