buzzby 22 without a win. What would be an all time league record?

38, Derby County in THAT Premier League season, plus the start of their return to the Championship.

Wow, that's just a little embarrassing.

They lost 30 of them too.

Re: Did you leave early?

So do as you please, leave as early as you wish, but take the stick in good grace. You must be a total idiot. Why should somebody take stick "in good grace" for leaving a game of football early? Get a life - let people do what they want if they aren't harming you. You seem very confused. ...

Re: ArsenaLOL

Not so sure it's Arteta, more that with players like Wilshere, Cazorla and Ramsay around him, Arsenal just don't need him. In contrast he was the best midfielder in the Everton side.

Re: Did you leave early?

I think I've posted similar before but.... Absolutely no issue with people leaving early, but those people should take in good humour however various comments on here when they leave early and miss game-changing goals. I am absolutely positive that there are people on this thread who have seen us a)...

Re: Wigan (H) Match Thread - Sponsored by a real 6 pointer

So Pearce dropped for a couple of mistakes despite defensive improvements with him in the team; and Guthrie dropped completely for tactical reasons. Pathetic.

Re: Wigan (H) Match Thread - Sponsored by a real 6 pointer

Pearce is just a bizarre decision - unless he is carrying a slight niggle.

We have just looked better at the back with the Mapps/Pearce partnership, there's little more needs saying.

Just bizarre.

Re: Wigan (H) Match Thread - Sponsored by a real 6 pointer

Holding back on commenting too much on Guthrie for now given his recent personal circumstances, but Brian will deserve every piece of criticism he gets if he dropped Guthrie for tactical reasons.

I do hope he is asked straight about by Radio Berks about that and about dropping Pearce.

TBM I've got the Arsenal/Villa game on as well and its safe to say we will struggle against them too - they are taking the game to Arsenal

Benteke and Weimann are going to give our defence nightmares.

Re: Wigan (H) Match Thread - Sponsored by a real 6 pointer

It all comes back to personnel. Looking at that the two teams today - I'd argue that at least 8 of the Wigan players are, on paper, better options than their Reading counterparts; and it might be more if a) I had heard of Beausejour, and b) rated Emerson Boyce. And the other one is Di Santo because ...

Royal91 get Hunt off and get HRK on.

Yep, it's definitely laugh or cry time.

That faced with a mountain to climb in a Premier League fixture we might even ponder calling for Hal Robson-Kanu.

"they've got a striker on who is on goalscoring form but is out of favor with management" they seriously have NO clue at all. if we are going to survive at all we have to play 451 and alfie cannot play up front by himself so naturally we have to play pog. oxf*rd idiotic. Lots of ways to p...

To Dellor, if you're reading this, after the game fancy asking McDermott straight out why he dropped Pearce to the bench and Guthrie completely for this must win game?

Re: Brian McDermott Tribute - The Man

Approaching the 2 mile mark in last year’s Reading half marathon, I spotted and already tired Brian (I think he went off too quick) and moved to overtake him. Patting him lightly on the back as I did so, I said “nearly there, Brian”, to which he responded “ha! yeeaaahhh!” Looking back now I realise ...

Re: ArsenaLOL

With AK on this one, and not because it’s Liverpool.

People want to laugh at how long it is since Arsenal have won a trophy, but when the point is made that Liverpool have won three cups since Arsenal won anything, suddenly Arsenal’s league titles in the early 2000s come into play.

Just lacked composure in the last 10 minutes, not the barnstorming finish you'd normally expect. Assaidi looks a decent prospect, if a little raw. Trickier and quicker than Sterling.
