Royal Rother Good riddance to the odious little creep.

Actually, I think you'll find that Victor is still around, more's the pity.

Edit: There's an article about it on the Beeb site now as well:

Re: Richard Keys and Andy Gray

Franchise FC The most surprising thing is that no-ones mentioned that AG shows consistently he has no idea about the laws of the game himself - that's the real irony

I thought that was the primary qualification to be a football commentator...

Re: Richard Keys and Andy Gray

They've bottled under the PC pressure of self-righteous cretins in the media, and of course the lovely feminist movement, and sacked a guy who has had a cushy number for the last 20 years getting paid large wads of cash for making anodine comments while watching the game he loves for something that...

Re: Richard Keys and Andy Gray

Keys is a Coventry fan, so given my antipathy towards that particular club, AFAIC he can just oxf*rd right off anyway

I wouldn't call that a 'lucky' penalty call. Howard clearly brought the guy down.

LUX Mick McCarthy is far funnier.

This.

Holloway has become a self-parody, which is never a good thing. It's almost like he has to get at least one 'quip' into every interview, but they all sound like he's been thinking them up for ages and just waiting for a chance to use them.

Re: Championship - Next Manager to Go?

And the first two games for his replacement are an FA Cup game against Chelsea and a League Cup semi-final against Arsenal. Hardly the ideal games to assess the team and what needs changing. Although if they've not got anyone lined up to replace him it'll probably be a caretaker in charge for those ...

Re: How not to celebrate a goal

Watching that with the sound off is slightly confusing, as you see the player in blue go down after being clouted by his teammate celebrating the goal, and the next shot is what looks like the same player lying on the ground and an opposition player being sent off. Couple of seconds of 'WTF' until y...

Re: Championship - Next Manager to Go?

hardly a surprise, its the end of the loan period. I think one of the 3 players is on a season long loan I didn't think it was possible to recall players on season-long loans. Mind you, at one time players had to be under a certain age (I think it was 24?) in order to go on season-long loans, but t...
