Re: Stay off the pitch!

It's not fine (On the VERY OFF CHANCE that we win) do you want to see beered up blokes and their sheep-like followers waving their bellies and shirts at you....or the players doing a well-deserved lap of honour? You're in the 'not fine' camp, which is fine. What I want to know is why the seem to be...

Re: Diving Bans

Yeah - I think they would only be able to ban players for clear, ridiculous dives. I can't see how they can ban if there is some doubt or a player dives out the way to avoid a clattering. I kind of think the opposite - it needs to be harsh enough that you don't risk it. Yeah, if you penalise the ob...

Re: Play Off Final Tickets

Picked up 2 in 115 on sale day one, was surprised we'd sold out everything decent in the lower tier behind the goals so quickly. I was just too busy to buy before 5 pm though. Obviously I'd have had no problems getting tickets in any case given a 38,000 allocation, but very cool of the club to coun...

Re: Diving Bans

This is great, providing someone has actually clearly defined what a dive is and where the boundary between diving and not diving is. Requiring contact isn't good enough. A mild glancing touch shouldn't usually take someone down, so falling over could still be a dive. Managing to avoid a challenge b...

Re: Where does Jaap Stand ?

Coppell
McDermott
Pardew
McGhee
Stam

Stam ready to leap frog into second or third. McGhee and Pards are hard to place. I have to put McGhee as low as possible just because of how much of a tosser he is.

Re: Are there 1,000 Reading Fans on this portal capable of a re-tweet?

Apart from the fact it ignores all our success after 1995, makes no mention of anything relevant to our current Play Off campaign and McGhee actually left for Leicester it's ok.

Make some effort and make it relevant ffs.

CountryRoyal
alfie9 Wednesday and Fulham should play their own final for the "Best team in the Championship" trophy

They'd just have to give it to Leeds and Brighton anyway.

Re: BFTG - Fulham

This whole experience just reinforces my bemusement with people that support Liverpool/Man United, etc... with no connection to the club. I try to avoid football talk in work, this is one reason that happened yesterday: Colleague - are you going tonight? Me - yes, I can't wait as I've just been sic...

Re: Who do we want, then?

Congratulations Huddersfield. Hopefully we can have a good match and you can go home disappointed but not feeling robbed after giving it a go.

Unlucky Wednesday, so close. Better luck next year.

Re: BFTG - Fulham

And finally a massive boo to the steward who I have just spotted on the Sky recording charging ten yards to haul back a supporter by the neck as they tried to get onto the pitch at least 5 minutes after the battle to stop the invasion had been lost and there were already thousands of fans on the pi...

Re: Who do we want, then?

Fulham beat Huddersfield 5-0 and 4-1. Huddersfield finished above them. And might yet make the PO Final. Fulhschmulam. My point was, Fulham's threat is probably at least on a par. If we can beat them we can beat either of these two. I still think Fulham were overrated. But I certainly agree we can ...

Re: CONFIMRED - Lewis Grabban

I guess you don't understand how a team works together to win a match. Kermie and Al Habsi won it single handedly I suppose. Take a look at yourself. You started the exchange by picking out two players. Now you're telling me I don't understand football because I talk about two players you utt...

Gutted, was close. But the better team won. Fingers crossed for you at Wembley, should you reach the premier league. I'm sure Stam is the man to mastermind further success in the form of survival. Good luck! Thank you. That was a hell of a display of attacking control in the second half, just witho...

Re: CONFIMRED - Lewis Grabban

He hasn't really had a great deal of support in this 5-3-2 system combined with a cautious defensive minded tactical approach. He burst forward but only has Swift or Kermie anywhere near him. Under the circumstances he did exceptionally well and holds on to the ball far better than many others coul...
