Re: Should BR stay?

I want him to go. I want sir steve back. I think BR has actually brought in some good players but hasn't the nous to get them working together. Each day BR remains in charge will mean the damage he is doing to the club will get worse. SSC should be brought back without dills & downs (dills obvi...

Re: Scunthorpe - back from the lame

I have no problem with Kebe coming off the bench as his pace can be hard to handle but IMO he shouldn't be starting and keeping people like HRK out of the team. Not good enough to start. IMO both of them should be out of the team and Henry back from his loan and in instead. Overrated, yes but at le...

Re: FAO Dellor

Anyone who thinks it is acceptable for a football manager to talk to a journalist like that on the air really isn't very smart when it comes to diplomacy. If he had a problem with the question he should have addressed it off air You need the local journalists on side.Trying to humiliate them on a li...

Re: Scunthorpe - back from the lame

If it comes to the end of the season and all we've got to show is some good performances then we are in serious trouble.I'd would rather see a season of one-nil wins if it meant winning. The team is at the stage where they need to start winning games otherwise despite what the likes of Royalee and o...

Re: Scunthorpe - back from the lame

SteveRoyal If some of you even bothered to look at some of the positives of the game, you might be a lot happier in life.

Tell us what you thought the positives were then.

Re: Rodgers is still the right man

I didn't say he was fully fit I said he was fit enough to play it was you who speculated about the amount of time he could play. Rodgers was asked during the week if Cummings was unhappy about being dropped and hey presto he's in the team. Also, O'Dea has played left back before and would have been ...

Re: Scunthorpe - back from the lame

+1

There was a point in the last few minutes where there was acres of space to run into and not one of them bothered and that sums this team up for me.

Re: Scunthorpe - back from the lame

I actually think today was one of our better peformances, and it looked like they are starting to take on board what Rodgers wants, some of the football was really good, a fair reflection should have been 4-0, only a lack of finishing prevented that from happening. I also thought our defence was st...

Re: Rodgers is still the right man

Stretch was fit enough. If he wasn't then we basically had six subs which would put us at a disadvantage.

Re: Scunthorpe - back from the lame

Funny how losing points in a game we deserved to win has gone from being 'unlucky' 2 years ago, to managerial ineptitude now. You seem to think we deserve to win every game. The fact is we didn't take our chances so we didn't deserve to win today. No I don't. For example we deserved to lose against...

Re: Rodgers is still the right man

No disrespect but how many times have you seen us this season? Rodgers doesn't know his best team and seems to pick players from a hat or when they complain about not being in the team i.e. Cisse and Cummings. We may well survive but it will be down to others in a very poor league and not ourselves...

Re: Rodgers is still the right man

I don't think Rodgers has lost the vast majority of the fans, maybe 60%, but certainly not an unretrievable amount. You are deluded. There are only three people alive on the face of the planet today that share your view, yourself, Andrew1957 (that nut who thinks global warming is a conspiracy to ge...

Re: Rodgers is still the right man

w_r you are seriously deluded if you think Madejski will not sack Rodgers. Madejski is an astute businessman, of course he will sack him if he thinks that is what is needed. He has sacked managers before, and he will again. He's also shown himself to be loyal, trusting, and non-reactionary. Or, he ...
