Re: Weekend Football

Traore is one of my favourite current players, he’s just so different to the standard player nowadays, really refreshing to watch Absolute tank. Wouldnt look out of place as a rugby winger. He has also improved so much as he was pretty bad at wolves and Boro Think that’s a bit unfair, he did quite ...

Re: TV rights

Amazon have absolutely nailed the football rights they have. Every game, all replays if you miss a goal straight away and a good show and coverage. I quite like Amazon but the commentator of the Wolves game was clueless, don’t know who that was Do you mean the co-commentator ? That was Jim ‘Clueles...

Re: BFTG QPR

Charlie Adam's passing ability is wasted when he's pinging balls out wide to Gunter to turn and pass the ball back, or Blacket to pass the ball out of play. Once Yiadom and Obita are fit we'll start rolling teams over These comments really annoy me We’ve played Yiadom and Obita numerous times this ...

Re: BFTG QPR

Interesting views as always. For me Eze is currently ahead of Ejaria. Eze wasn't playing against Pele or Gunter last night he was playing wherever the space was. He is excellent at drifting into space between the lines and then attacking the back four if he gets the ball in the right area. He is al...

Re: LOLiverpooLOL - Next Season

This week was the deciding week for Liverpool, with three tough fixtures in Leicester (A), Wolves (H), and Sheffield United (H) but after the first round of fixtures, that’s surely game, set and match

Re: VAR

Sorry, that’s not a penalty in the slightest It’s simple. If a player exaggerates contact, they should give it. Mahrez went down like he’s been shot. Therefore, shouldn’t be given As I said, if the Keane one at Brighton was a penalty, then so was this. Apparently, the boots players wear now give li...

Re: BFTG QPR

I do think there is more focus on Gunter not pushing forward compared to our other full backs. He got forward as much and probably more than Blackett last night. Baffles me a bit. Because we’ve been prone to seeing Gunter do this for years and years now, that’s why It’s just odd really. It’s not li...

Re: BFTG QPR

Bit annoying that there’s a chance 5 of our next 6 leagues game could be away, presuming one of us and Bristol go through and it isn’t rearranged straight after

Re: BFTG QPR

Agree with all of that. Yids has the edge over Gunter although the latter is a better passer and crosser. However Yiadom is the more tenacious and effective defender. Yaks isn’t pretty to watch but he is effective and justifies his place in the team. I think Joao is coming along nicely and better a...

Re: Rival Watch

Only watched the first half, but PNE looked tidy against the division’s best club. Not expecting to get anything from Saturday’s game They very rarely lose at home, just three times in the whole of 2019 so far, one against SU, one against Leeds and one against WBA (dubious penalty too) They seem to...

Re: Rival Watch

Another late goal conceded by Wigan, never known anything like it

Brentford on a roll too, just at the same time that Leeds + WBA seem to be dropping a few points. Could make that interesting

Two huge games for Derby now, Charlton and Barnsley (H), lose those and they're in right trouble

Re: BFTG QPR

He put in four or five good crosses during the game. How often does Yids do that? Yids just wants to cut inside and take defenders on too much. He's a great outlet to carry the ball forward, but if he'd just go outside occasionally and cross more he'd be so much better. He's ahead of Gunts for me, ...

Re: BFTG QPR

One thing I particularly enjoyed was the constant spanking off by the commentators about the Warburton ethos of banning the players from shooting from more than 22 yds...…..yet they were losing to exactly such a goal   I must say I was very pleased when Smith lined up that shot for them i...

Re: BFTG QPR

Yiadom RM could work but I think I’d rather McCleary and Meite there (especially if it would mean putting him back up front) Alternatively if none of the left backs are able to keep the shirt, it could be a case of putting Gunter LB. Blackett has only started four games and we’ve kept a clean sheet ...

Re: BFTG QPR

Excellent defensive performance. People slating Gunter (who was actually decent) can’t even bring themselves to acknowledge being in the right place to clear that shot off the line, dreary me. Raphael is improving game on game. Defensively getting tighter. We did give up a lot of space in middle of...

Re: Form

It’s a bit of shame our run from Brentford to Stoke, only picking up 5 points

Even three more points would have been massive for us right now, and got us really looking up the table. Swifts injury was a really bad blow for us, really hope he can stay fit now
