BFTM - Brum Away 8 Aug 2015

Feck, feck, feck. So p1ssed off. Were they arguing over who should take the pen? It certainly looked like it. Was shot over line? Looked like it.

Dreadful penalty. Too casual. Typical Reading to muster defeat from the jaws of something better.

Re: IS STEVE CLARKE STILL AROUND?

Anyone got a list of all the transfers in from the other clubs in the league as way of comparison? Just to get people to chill the fcuk out. In short: - Us and 7 others haven't signed anyone.. - 10 Teams have only signed one player. So yeah.. There is nothing to worry about yet. Two questions: 1. W...

Re: Summer Rebuild

Have we bought anybody yet?

Are we still selling off all our best players?

Does the board crave relegation this season?

Re: Fran Kirby

Sorry to say this but I was surprised at the poor standard of play. I'd been led to believe that women's football was a far higher standard than this. It felt somewhere between top division Sunday morning pub football and lower league semi-pro. Don't think I'll be watching much more.

Re: Thai owners

Well with all these rumours being banded about, it will only be a matter of time before the club makes a statement to ease everyones concerns, after all we do have an outstanding record of keeping the fans in the know about what is presently going on in and around the Mad Stad, never can be said th...

Winston Smith Nou Camp, so that all 100,000 people who claim they were at Elm Park when he bycicle kick volleyed in from 90 yards can be represented.

More like 200,000 and I HEARD he did 5 somersaults before whacking it in from the roof of the Spread Eagle.

But that's because you weren't there.

I was.

Re: Pearce to Derby - CONFIMRED

Without re-quoting him, I basically share Monster M's sentiments.

Like him, I fear the worst I terms of us not spending. In which case we're going to get weaker and weaker as we sell our better/best players.

We'll see.

Somehow I doubt it though.

Can't see us splashing out and replacing him with someone better.

Re: Pearce to Derby - CONFIMRED

Hendo I am guessing it was a bit of a quote fail.

It was "a something fail". I tried to highlight my agreement with much of the original post but go on to make a nifty alteration that I believe to be more accurate.

Clearly I failed!

Re: Pearce to Derby - CONFIMRED

Disappointed to see Pearce leave. He's solid at this level and I cannot see us bringing in anybody who is an improvement. Unfortunately it seems the owners are not prepared to provide the finances that are needed to compete for promotion in this league, or possibly even remain in this league. Simple...

Re: How do you feel today (Cup Final Day)

Enjoying the name checks, if not the re-runs of THAT goal. Good luck Arsenal, might as well be fluked by the cup winners and as a footnote, this is probably the most "interested" that I've been in an FA Cup final for years. Being of a certain age, maybe it's the Beebs all day coverage, ma...

It could have been us! It could have been us! So close yet so far. Anyone feel like the proverbial 'rejected bride' today? (Sorry, best metaphor I could think of.)

Re: Bibbo and Armstrong gone?

http://i.imgur.com/2PiA3yq.png Surely the role of a Director of Football is to ensure continuity throughout different managers. If you have a highly successful, well regarded goalkeeping coach who has been at the club for 10+ years, shouldn't NH be saying "you can't sack him". The core st...

Re: Coming soon to a cinema near you - Robin Friday The Movi

More news about the Robin Friday film reaches the BBC (Wales) website - http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-south-east-wales-32720391 I appreciate it is from the welsh arm of the BBC but it is galling to see him billed as 'Cardiff City hero' when he only played 21 games for them compared with 121 ga...

He's just jelous 'cos he never saw Reading's player of the millennium play. Did I mention that I did? Many, many times. Not really anything to brag about. Just means you're old. I am old. Nevertheless, watching Robin play is worth bragging about. As is waiting for him after the match to speak with ...
