Re: Mcd says we haven't got any cash....

RFC have basically forgotten that they are in the sports entertainment business, and just about every RFC supporter I know - and I know a fair few - is increasingly disheartened at seeing player after player leave the club in exchange for a solid right back who is getting on in years and a fat left...

Re: Reading vs Pompey(A) Match Thread (2/46)

ZacNaloen One thing is clear from the highlights, Jamie Ashdown hates conceding goals

He kicked Gunnarsson whilst everyone else celebrated the goal :?

You'd have thought he would've got used to it by now.

Re: 'smallish club, somewhere north of the M25'

Are we really surprised by this? We're talking about a club who Peter Kenyon once claimed would "turn the world blue" and be the "biggest of the lot in 20 years". That's right, bigger than Real Madrid, AC Milan, Barcelona, Man U and Liverpool. In recent history Buck is probably r...

Commentator quote of the weekend from Ian Darke during the Spurs game, "Clive Allen is off to watch Young Boys tomorrow". Dirty b'stard.

Re: Mcd says we haven't got any cash....

Scenario: You are Jobi McAnuff, QPR have been chasing you all summer and are the only club in the League who can spend without getting into debt. Sir John Madejski comes out and says that Reading are quite happy to finish in mid table in the Championship. Now, if you're Jobi what are you going to th...

Re: Coppell resigns as Bristol City manager

Daily Mail: Steve Coppell's abrupt departure from Bristol City after less than four months as manager was brought about because his working relationship with demanding multi-millionaire stockbroker owner Steve Lansdown had broken down in double quick time. And Coppell doesn't hang around in those c...

Re: Coppell does it again!

Pardew did all the work and it took Coppell 3 years to finish it Obvious to everyone how ridiculous this statement was, but just to really point it up: Reading players from the 2005/6 squad who played 10 or more league games, listed by the manager in charge when they signed: Burns: Murty Pardew:Hah...

Re: Coppell does it again!

Royalee Big deal, if he was such a good manager why did he never manage to consistently have a club in the top flight and motivate top players and end up at poxy Bristol City? Oh yeah, because he's a bottle job.

what a pathetic little tw@t.

I'm sorry but a massive lol at you all. You're all happy to sit around bashing the goal music on here and yet you're not willing to do anything to get shot of it... I'm not being funny but it's that kind of attitude that is sending this country down the bog hole - everyone complains about politicia...

Re: Mcd says we haven't got any cash....

Another rant from the fickles. Do you think it's their money they're spending? Like you say they don't have it so where do you think it's coming from the tooth fairy, Santa? The club do appear to be making a gamble but just because they put something out to the wider world doesn't mean it's true. A...

Re: Stadium Of Pain

Once again the fans are being conned by the club. The fact Madejski won't make a substantial investment in the person who chooses the music shows his complete lack of ambition. First we stop getting the Army to deliver the ball then we got rid of that dog that juggled it and now this. GET THE OXFORD...
