Re: Squad Watch 2022/23

Love seeing Twitter explode after every departure. End of the day, these players we hold in such high regard collectively would have got us relegated last season if it wasn’t for a monster Derby points deduction. Now I know we are desperate for replacements and yet to see anything there yet, but we’...

Has to be up there with the top Mad Stad celebration moments, McIntyre vs Swansea joins the illustrious list of:

Forster vs Wigan
Murty vs QPR
Lita vs Boro
Federici vs Cardiff
Ledge vs Forest
ALF vs Chelsea
Pog vs WBA
Meite vs Wigan

(Bound to have missed some others but these all come to mind)

Re: Injury watch 2021/22

Halilovic not available again (despite coming out a few weeks back saying he is ready) - reading between the lines, must have some sort of clause in his deal where if he plays a certain number of games it will trigger another year deal, also wouldn't be surprised if that is what happened with Dann....

Re: Official RFC Clownovic Day. The protest thread

And many of the posts on this thread are typical of our namby pamby support who are quite happy to roll over and have your bellies tickled by the people making the decisions at our club. I bet most of you sit on the coaches to the games with your thermos flasks politely clapping as we lose another ...

Re: Official RFC Clownovic Day. The protest thread

Whole thing is a shambles... from what is going on at the Club at present to this 'protest' 1- No one is aligned as to what they are protesting about - Dai/ Kia/ Pauno (but lets face it, if we were winning games and weren't in a relegation battle there wouldn't be a protest). The time, the type of ...

Re: Official RFC Clownovic Day. The protest thread

Wet blanket. He has a point. What happens if Dai walks? He can't without leaving the club financially secure and I believe he would have to pay all debts before leaving. If he wants to do that then I'm all for it. There are rules to stop owners doing this sort of thing, they have to agree all of th...

Re: Official RFC Clownovic Day. The protest thread

Wet blanket. Bet all these Reading fans planning to protest weren’t protesting against the likes of Puscas, Joao, Rafael et al on huge salaries were signed - which has effectively led to where we are now… Short memories, now results haven’t panned out and we the spending didn’t work the toys are co...

Re: Official RFC Clownovic Day. The protest thread

Can’t believe this is actually happening - personally can’t see what will be achieved by it other than p*ssing off an owner who has ploughed millions into the club and making him leave the club threatening our existence. If anyone actually believes Pauno is being kept manager on merit by the owner t...

Know I’m in the minority here, but this whole Liam Moore saga is a mess and I can’t wait for him to come out with his side of the story - if he ever does. He’s a decent Championship defender, always rates highly for blocks, clearly respected and liked by his team mates and has been made a scapegoat...

Re: Andy Carroll

Anyone really surprised?! A grand a week, came to us after not having a club for three months, proved his fitness and now has a gig for a team fighting at the other end of the table. Fair play to him and was great having him with us. There was no way he could be paired up top with Joao - so with Joa...

Re: Karl Hein -Confirmed

Pepe the Horseman Given the Reading social media team have been ramming this guy down our throats all week, I'd say he's a shoe in to start on Sat, which is really shit for Southwood.

Convinced he will be #1 but I don't believe he will be going straight in on Saturday. He will play the friendly vs Arsenal first.

Re: George Puscas leaving?

Need to get him off the books for FFP - if he goes a replacement will come in

Certainly hasn't lacked effort or desire just sadly hasn't worked out for him - mainly because we haven't played a system that suits him.

Re: Karl Hein -Confirmed

Hein will be our number one. Pauno frustrated with mistakes being made by Southwood and wanted a replacement or competition which will help up Southwood's game, Rafael was always leaving in January. As already mentioned, Arsenal only letting him go for guarantee of first team football. From my POV, ...

Re: Karl Hein -Confirmed

Well glad to see the club proving they're still utterly clueless. Southwood has made a lot of errors of late, we are bang in a relegation battle and last thing we need is costly keeper errors. Club/ Pauno clearly felt this was an area that needs addressing for the run-in. So I wouldn't call that cl...
